The cancer surgeon who injured a cop’s leg while trying to avoid being issued a driving summons also badmouthed police and hailed herself as a “hero,” prosecutors said Friday.

“I’m a doctor. I have patients that are dying — I have to go,” Dr. Rachel Wellner allegedly said as she was busted for reckless endangerment, leaving the scene, resisting arrest and reckless driving.

“I’m the hero and the cops are not. I don’t accept the summons,” she added.

The outrageous statements were read at Wellner's arraignment in Manhattan Criminal Court by prosecutor Julia Sear.

“Help! The police are assaulting me,” the fired-up physician added.

It's common for cops let doctors off speeding tickets ( according to cops on various cop forums ) so if that is the case then this is what's going to happen .
