Hugh Jackman denies steroid use for Wolverine

Here's the thing.....what's a "steroid" and what's a "supplement".

He can say he wasn't on steroids or something but just used supplements instead. Is HGH a supplement? Is TRT a supplement or steroid? It's semantics.

Pretty sure steroid has a very strict biological/chemical meaning and is not only a PED.

If i was actor i would straight up say im full of bullshark testesterone 9000 wtf you gonna do about it

nobody gonna do anything
but this thread is literally about an actor wouldn't admit it, the opposite of what you are saying

I know it works, because I am living proof, I did it on myself. Also others too, I saw it and did it. Just google it.
I have to call shenanigans on your claim. You did not gain 30 lbs of lean muscle in a year. You have to be some genetic outlier and also a teenager who is new to strength training. You are definitely not doing it later in life. It is definitely out of the ordinary.

Dude can repair his flesh and skin, surely he can be super strong without looking as if he is on steroids?

I think the old "lore" was that as he heals immediately in one work out he can reach his natural limit by just increasing the weight each set. Gotta say I always wanted that ability (and his heeling factor in general).

Of course no one slaps on 30 pounds of lean muscle naturally in a year unless they are fresh out of auschwitz. If you aren't half starved then over eating and performing resistance exercises isn't going to suddenly convince your body to add 30 pounds of lean mass lol.

People don't understand how difficult it is just to gain 10 lbs of lean muscle in a year especially if you are out of that newbie phase. This is is why the Hollywood stuff is garbage. It fills people with unrealistic expectations. The stuff about oh he has all the chefs and the trainers is hilarious too. It's mainly lean protein and rice. You don't need a chef to prep that. The trainers release their secret workouts and it isn't extraordinary.

The average man can gain 30-40 lbs of muscle naturally over their entire lifetime. Of course genetics plays a high part in that number.

Under perfect training conditions it would be feasible to gain 20 lbs the first year, 10 lbs the second year and five pounds the third... Then diminishing quickly after that. That's perfect conditions. Usually no one dials in a program perfectly from the get go.

The good thing is though, once you've hit that genetic potential you can maintain it through your 40s and 50s easily if continue to diet and train correctly.

I don't know what's so hard to believe. Listen to internet "experts" on sherdog or look it up yourself.

No offence but you are spreading nonsense. 30 pounds of lean mass in a year? Maybe if you are an anorexic 7 footer but let's take someone of average height for example.

A 5'9-5'11er gaining 30 pounds of lean mass in a year would be like 155ish pound fight night Sean O'Malley turning into 185ish pounds prime GSP in a year.

Just absurd to even suggest quite frankly.

Homeboy is saying it is possible to gain 30 lbs in a year and it is quite the normal thing to do. That is far from a lifetime of training.
