I doubt Colby will be cut, he lost a close fight to the champ. And he has a decent sized following.
Colby won't be cut anytime soon unless he goes on a big losing streak or he gets into some kind of legal trouble.
With that being said, he won't be getting another title shot as long as Dana can help it. He should have never talked so much shit about his boss. Now his chances of over being the champ might be ruined and Colby has no one to blame but himself for it.

He wont get cut. His shtick has proven to bring in fans. They either truly follow him or tune in to see him lose. Either way thats money for UFC , so Dana is happy. Say what you want about him but his shtick worked. Not to mention he put up a dog fight against a Champ. No reason to cut him, this isn’t a Ben Askren situation.

Was funny to hear "USA" and "Colby" chants during the fight. Was pretty surprised.
