6-12 elbows now allowed, he should avenge his former loss to Matt Hamill in dominating 6-12 elbow fashion.

But now that extending fingers towards opponents is a foul, do you think Jon will have severe gameplan consequences, considering he eyepokes often and uses his fingers extendeD?

I say put him against Anthony Johnson to see how the eye poke thing goes.
AJ responds in a violent manner, every time someone tries to poke his eye.

Matt Hamill won fair and square, Jones elbows were never the same after those headbutts from the bottom.

They took away his greatest weapon

Bones is going to get DQed pretty quick me thinks

Where are those new and where are the official? Just Nevada?

it wont do shit as rules dont apply to jones.

dont believe me? just ask him.

I honestly dont understand how eyepokes happen that often if theyre not intentional.

I'm 6'3 with very long reach and I palm at my sparring partners all the time bit I've never poked anyone in the eye or seen an eyepoke happen at the gym.

6-12 elbows have always been perfectly legal.... also damn near impossible to throw and elbow perfectly vertical from the floor to the ceiling. Don't think I've ever seen a 6-12 elbow thrown in a fight ever.

Maybe you have always been looking at clocks upside down or something?

I hope he gets to split open Daniel Cormiers wig with them Noon-six bows in a couple months.

It wouldn't make a difference since there are no new rules yet.

If they made these rules retroactive, Jones picks up the win over Hamill, but then loses 3 other eye poke victories in the process

By going 75 in a 35

They should have stopped his finger to the eye technique long ago. It's obvious that he does it constantly and deliberately. The game changes when a fighter isn't getting Jones's fingers racked across their eyes for the entire fight....

Many of them are intentional by Jones. But, he isn't the only one doing it either he just does it very often. I don't think I remember seeing RDA ever eyepoke a fighter, at least not recently, nor McGregor (ever), and McGregor's got a long 74" reach for a FW/LW fighter. Same with Anderson, I don't remember him eyepoking many guys and never on purpose if memory serves, or Chris Weidman (78" reach) etc. I have seen Jones and Gustafsson as well do it at 205 on a number of occasions but Jones' seem the most frequent and the most blatant intentional fouls.

We are going to see a whole new arsenal of ways to attack the collarbone.
