How to Defeat a Chimpanzee

Lol that's a hilarious story. Chimps are fucking nuts.

The '5 times stronger' myth actually comes from a faulty experiment that was not reproduced by other researchers, who found figures more along the lines of 1.2-1.3 times strength; about what you would expect from an active person.

But animals seems to have superior "chins" and bone density in their sculls. my dog has jumped straight into an elbow and was unfazed. I know one Malamute that got hit by a car and just stood up and walked away.

Rarely do you see dogs or monkeys dazed by impacts

Bighorn sheep, along with woodpeckers and a handful of other animals have brains that are well-protected against impacts. Some animals brains are well-protected against concussions due to a phenomenon called the "bubble wrap effect." That's not the case with humans.

It must be the same with dogs.

From what iv been reading it isnt. not only can a dog get concussed but a dog can get differently-sized pupils, lethargy, disorientation, or even vomit. Those are similar to human symptoms of concussion.

From an evolution stand point bighorn sheep and woodpeckers would need something like the bubble wrap effect, dogs not so much

Thanks for the shares, that was interesting.

What's also interesting is that humans, just like animals can suddenly go nuts too.

*edit* shinchekin posted same thing as me whilst I was typing. Great minds think alike they say @shincheckin

humans are a dangerous animal just like the chimp.

No human could do that. Literally ripped her face off and ripped her hands off her arms.... Jesus christ I head the 911 call that shit will give you nightmares.

Reminds me of a movie I watched as a kid called "SHAKMA"

Its about a baboon that goes loose in a lab and murders people. Shit was terrifying.

seriously dude, our DNA is 99% the same or something like that. So........if you look at the human as an animal, undomesticated, etc. We are very similar, take into account that naturally by instinct, chimps bite off fingers and bite the face. Which are some of the same biting targets for a human. A human fight, no rules to the death, would look something very similar to 2 chimps going at it. Its crazy too to see the chimps for groups/gangs and go kill enemies/rivals which is again the same things humans do. Chimps canabalize too, which is again something humans do. Its pretty nuts. I believe in evolution.

So a chimp chicka is basically the most dangerous thing to walk this planet
