It doesn't sound ridiculous at all during a pandemic. There are shopping alternatives for you. Order your shit from amazon to be delivered, click and collect, etc.. You will be fine.

But if people are vaccinated then the pandemic is over. So whats the problem with un vaccinated people if the pandemic is over?

There is no problem once the herd is immune and the virus stops propagating, then we can relax a bunch of this stuff.

However, if a significant portion of the population refuses to take it that may not happen, and businesses will be required setup "safe zones" so that majority of consumers feel secure. There are tons of educated middle aged people that won't go back to spending their money until this thing is gone. It may also take a year or more to get everyone the vaccine to everyone and some of these solutions look like they will ready right away. It's not personal, it's only business.

Stop and frisk covid edition would be police randomly checking for mandatory vaccination complaince, that is a bridge to far for any reasonable person. This is something entirely different and would be completely legal.

The difference is one is the state forcing you to do something on public land, the other is simply a private entity exercising their right to property, like no shirt no shoes no service.

They both fall under the laws that allow buisinesses to regulate themselves and choose who they serve. In the 60s the signs kept dirty hippies out, in 2021 they will be used for diseased Karens and anti maskers.

If you refuse to take common sense precautions for the good of your community that is your choice, but a business has no obligation to put their staff and customers at risk. You have your freedoms, that have theirs.

Of anti vaxers sure. They are not a protected class.

This is a highly contagious pathogen, "segregation" is exactly how you stop it.

Let's be real here though this ticketmaster thing is not even banning them entirely. It just asks they test negative for coronavirus approximately 24 to 72 hours prior to the concert. I don't necessarily expect all this to happen the way I think it should.

Anti vaxxers are no more a protected class than people who test positive. Stay the fuck home, sorry, Come back when you have the antibodies. I don't feel bad for them at all, get the fucking injections. What is the problem here?

This is what you guys always resort to when you run out of steam... "stay home if you're scared". Pretty much every conversation about covid ends this way. Sad.

FYI it is looking like I won't be the one staying home ;)
