Here we go again: How do you now about that recruitment? If you take more weight, but stand a little bit more upright (a LITTLE bit) you might involve even more of your traps. Or maybe not? And how much more ("recruitment") are we talking about, anyways?

Bottom line: ROW! Don't be anal about being parallel to the ground all time, you will barely get weights moving when posturing up like this. Try not to snap your back in order to get the bar moving, but if you deviate slightly from perfect technique it should not matter too much. Just do it.
