I just got a raise and my salary is $80k now. I expect to make another $5k to $10k from my "side hustle".

A better wage than I ever expected when growing up in government housing with a single mother in an economically depressed industrial town.

I find those numbers to be quite interesting. So much for the "sherdoggers are a bunch of basement dwelling incels" crap. If accurate, it would certainly suggest we skew towards the upper end of the income scale.

14.3% over 305k... I wonder how accurate that actually is?

We're "old"..

I'd also factor in a lot of troll posts.. also this subject will naturally attract people who gives a shit about income..

Most of us are men, the median age seems to be between 30-40.. some of us are in managagement (poor souls being managed), have our own businesses, or having some kind of education i'm not surprised some of us are doing ok.. but the 300k+ is a bit fucky..

Was expecting more like 100k median..

Good on the balling sherbros though..

What makes it shady? Here its called the projects. Low income apartment complexes that have mostly poor minorities. High crime, vandalism, drugs, and no respect for the property. They are given to them by the government for peanuts. Jay Z, Nas, Biggie, all grew up in them.

It's one of the poorer neighbourhoods and one of the Gopnik Centrals of the city.

As far as heavy crime and drugs go, it's pretty safe, but in the 80's and 90's used to be one of the hotbeds of organized crime activity, and that stench is coming with it to present day. Police have done a good job at cleaning up the streets.

I think the voters that voted 305K+ at least half them are just playing around joking. That leaves us with 5 voters who are legit 305K+ members. And the rest of the poll is pretty much accurate, I don't think those Sherdoggers would be bullshitting.

Me: 135~150k/year
The Misses: 80~100k/year

We also paid off our mortgage in July, and have zero debt. Our only expenses are daily living expenses (food, heat/hot water, internet, phone, car insurance, gas etc) and my daughters schooling for another 8 months (2k per month).

We're not loaded, but we're doing pretty good.

Alberta not fucking around
Is it per person, or household income? Cause $92,000 jobs are not many.

Also, I think alot of ppl come from the poorer provinces to alberta to work and send money back etc.

About $34k, converted at 1 GB pounds to 1.34 US dollars. As I'm only working part-time, and on an entry level role because of that, I'm probably looking at $80K when I graduate my masters from what I gather.

For reference, Manchester to New York CoL ratio is 1:1.86, and Manchester to somewhere cheaper like Dallas is 1:1.09.

Edit:

I've just worked out my wife is on about $80K too. She is starting a new job in the summer too, as her current place haven't given her a raise in three years, so hopefully that should start rising soon.

Nah

In one of most expensive countries in europe

That can also be applied to Latvia, tbh.

Compared to our salaries our prices are through the roof and higher than they should be.

We're cheap for Western euros (at least used to be), but the locals are struggling.
