How many UFC fans are also WWE fans?

How much synergy is there actually between these two businesses?

How many people were fans of WWE? How many people are still fans of WWE?

I used to watch MMA off and on (sometimes for big fights) before Brock Lesnar came to the UFC. I knew big names in the industry but that was it. I used to be a big WWE fan though and was a huge fan of Lesnar, I started watching MMA once Brock came to the UFC and I heard he became champion. Eventually, I stopped watching WWE and now I just mainly watch UFC and once in a while some other fight promotions.

I’m 36. LOVED the Attitude Era as a kid. Kane was my favorite wrestler. Got out of it around 1999 though. Got back into WWE as a casual from about 2009-2014. Got to attend Survivor Series (I think it was) 2010 the night the Nexus was formed. The Nexus was epic while it lasted. Been completely out of Wrestling for about 8 Years now though. Don’t know what the heck is going on or who’s popular these days. I saw Kane is mayor somewhere in Tennessee, that’s effing amazing lol. I can’t help but point out how absolutely fascinated I was by the Kane/Undertaker/Mankind feud as a kid. Ahh the nostalgia hits hard

I watched wrestling when I was a kid. Not gonna judge anybody that watches, we’re all into different shit, but nowadays I’ll occasionally run across clips and just cringe. It’s a lot of bad acting and I can’t take the matches seriously when I know actual fighting.

I genuinely hope there’s no cross promotion and they’re kept very separate. WWE would probably benefit as they love crossover stars, but UFC would just be getting even further from a legitimate sport and closer to a side show.

On sherdog there seems to be a huge crossover of fans. The IRL fans I know are all people I train/have trained with and they don't seem at all interested in wrestling, in fact it's mostly mocked.
