My first account only lasted a few months and had very little posts. I got banned because there was a thread about a WMMA fight that was pretty bad and I posted that the 2 woman should retire from MMA and focus on getting married and raising a family lol and some grumpy mod banned me. I mean really. It was a positive message

Then I created this acc and never been in trouble since

Here's the thing: Promotion for the movie also starts long before the movie comes out. When the studio is bombarding us with enough movie clips to piece half the movie together, plus an endless barrage of hot-take political messaging, sticking to the rule* of not judging or even talking about the movie until release becomes both hard and slightly absurd. Especially when the thread starter himself started the thread way back in 2024.
Now, I haven't been active in the thread until the movie** (and reviews et cetera) came out. And my point was mostly this is garbage and I won't watch it. Which is perfectly fine to voice in thread, since one of the options in the dang thread poll is "I won't watch". Well I won't, and I motivated why. Then you called me a racist without even explaining how***, and then you removed my posts. Which would annoy me a few years ago, but now I just shrug. Because it is bloody typical of how shit this forum has become, and how shit the moderators are. And I really mean that objectively, I'm not just pissed at you in particular over this particular event.

Thread 'Gomi can out-box Pulver'

No one ever talks about how good Gomi's stand-up is. Gomi trains at a boxing gym in Japan, and I've heard from a guy that knows the coach there that he has no problem keeping up with Japan's best pro boxers. Apparently, boxing sees itself as "above" MMA here, so doesn't like Gomi to advertise his boxing skills, but from what I've heard he's as good a boxer as he is a grappler, and I think he'd be happy keeping the fight with Pulver on his feet (of course, his advantage over Jens is much greater on the ground, especially if he gets the quick takedown, but I think he has a very good chance...

I have been on here since around 09 in some capacity. 5 accounts deep.
3 bans. All pre 2016.
My final ban was glorious and highly obscene.

Might go out that way again in my 40's.
Never gets boring.
