Let’s get some honesty going on sherdog. Everyone is talking about Aspinall but how many other fighters have you pucked to be the chosen one? My honest answer is none but on the night of the Reyes fight I understood Reyes had length and boxing and Jones wouldn’t take him seriously so I stated if there were a night to bet against him pick Reyes.

I thought long and hard about favoring Gus the second time they fought. I thought Gus won the first and had the tools to dethrone Bones.

Currently, I think Tom is certainly a threat, but Bones is too long and athletic for Tom if the fight progresses into the latter rounds.

Wasn't unreasonable to think Gane had a very good chance to beat him at the time. Of course everyone changed their tune afterwards. In a world where he could stop a damn takedown he would've lit Jones the hell up on the feet lol.

I was actually a big Jones fan until the Rashad fight. I started to not like him and then the eye pokes, both real and threatened, became such a big part of his game that it really made me dislike him.

Then all the other stuff, roids, being too scared to fight Chael of all people, the pulsing, were just icing on the cake.

I picked DC to beat him but I think that's it. I thought machida had a chance too.

I didn't think Reyes could beat him so that was surprising. I knew he would dominate Stipe though. That fight was a joke.

Rashad, Lyoto, Glover, Rampage, Vitor, Chael, Gus 2...I didn't give any of these guys much of a chance. I kinda stopped watching after a certain point, Reyes? Santos? OSP? SMITH? LOL. That was a lineup of straight cans and Jones was half checked out.

I would pick Tom to beat Jones, not with confidence but but man...he's quicker with so much more horsepower and goes for it. Jones looked real sluggish vs Stipe.

They literally resurrected Jones from retirement to come to HW for a reason. I hate blasting it because honestly I would prefer working on the dark side orchestrating the hoax because I’m a twisted greedy fuck. However Im giving free game cause yhey didn’t pay me. The UFC is in full understanding without Jones they have nothing at HW to compete and for the first time in history they concede to not having the most interesting HW class compared to competition.
