For that reason I'd kind have like Big John to get the assignment. Dean is a fine ref but these days John seems to be harsher with pawing with an open hand. I think Dean is too, as refs seem to be more these days (probably mostly due to Jones), but Big John seems to be on it the most.

I loved how, in the first fight Rogan says : Oh, here's the first eyepoke ! Implying that many more were to come. Surprisingly, it was the only one.

That's why I wished that Big John was reffing this fight. When Jones went up against Belfort, Jones did his signature crawl out for the intro bell. Belfort did a kick to his head. Jones got offended and looked at Big John like, "WTF?". Big John instantly called him on it which I don't remember his exact words but to the degree of, "The fight is already started, stand up." So I see him putting a stop it the eye pokes and foolishness.
