There's no team which the US can send that wouldn't get completely shit-kicked by Lavrov, Putin, and Ushakov. High level statecraft is dead in the US and has been for some time, there's no one left in the US with the skills, experience, and gravitas to get any level of respect from Russia's diplomatic A-team.

What I think happened is the US team got the facts of life explained to them in small words that they can understand. The facts are that Russia holds the cards and there's not a damn thing the US can do about it unless they want to declare war, and we all know where that goes. The US can continue being stupid and get dragged down with Europe in the shitshow or it can take the off-ramp which the Russians offered them. Russia would prefer the US to exit the conflict, but it doesn't particularly care if it doesn't, either way the goals of the special military operation will be met. Oh, and here's a nice stack of documents in these folders we're giving you to show we're not full of shit.

And that is why Trump is straight up shook. I bet those documents verified and US leadership just found out that their own intelligence agencies are either lying to them or drinking their own Kool-Aid.

Well definitely not the government contractors that just keep getting money to refill the orders to replenish the weapons.

Government might save money otherwise had been paid to build new warehouses or to pay for de commisioning of old weapons and ammo.
Contractors getting $ to produce new models more modern weapons to refill storages and army might get cheaper supplies too.
The larger batch, the lesser price for 1 missile etc.

It is evn a bit actual money saving too....

Jobs, taxes gubbermints are getting cos workforce is earning $ and secondary tax when workforce is spending their $ take home portion ..they fuel economy, other bussineses are getting $ cos this, providimg jobs, paying tax ofc etc etc....

When it is over, then manufacturer doesn't warrant properties listed in attestation certificate and declaration according. certain criteria.
So ofc too old ammo should be replaced with new and old should be kept in storage, utilized or attempted to refubrish.

For example the same arty ammo etc...too.

Also ofc more and more modern stuff is produced, so if somewhere old old models stuff might be sent, it is cool economy, at least space economy, not alone to talk about if utilization expenses might saved.....
