I don't know what rock OP crawled out from under but putting Maia, Werdum, Fedor, and BJ Penn on a list ranked B+ for grappling in mma should be ban worthy.

At the time he was very good. That was a pretty slick arm bar he hit on GSP. His win over Royce was also impressive but I feel like that was more of a brute strength thing.

How many of those wrestlers took Maia took down and outgrappled him? Just because someone has the ability to effectively defend takedowns doesn't automatically make them a better grappler.
