I don't believe Lesnar can actually be knocked out. Hurt, yes. KO'd? Cain, Carwin and Hunt certainly tried...
Dude has the head and neck of a fuckin' bull.
We know Brock has a chin, 5 round cardio, better wrestling, and can survive Frank Mir off his back. I'd say Aspinall is a a mystery with his defensive wrestling and cardio, he's defended 2 takedowns in round 1 against a 10 notice Spivac only in UFC.
I'd take Brock and that could change if Aspinall shows a skillset I don't know. Many are writing Brock off and forgetting why things happened at the end of his career. After UFC 100, he never looked the same because of his illness. Aspinall could beat a post UFC 100 Brock, but the guy who destroyed Mir on the ground? Nah. People debated Fedor/Brock at that time. His fight with Overeem was the one time they allowed Ubereem into the UFC and we never saw Ubereem again.
I dont think his chin is the problem. He just never got conditioned to not panic when he got blasted. Which makes sense. They needed to focus on what he could do well cos he was jumpin in the deep end fast.Brock reacted about as poorly to being hit as is possible for a guy his size. At least from anyone that wasn't a 45 year old career LHW.
Could Brock win? I guess, but most likely the speed and power catch Brock's chin at some point early on and he turtles up and gets finished.

Usually you have a guy ready for that before they go pro. That's fair, and why I didn't say ge had a bad chin. We're kinda saying the same thing. He just reacted awfully to getting hit.

But with Brock they didnt have enough time. Him getting beat up in sparring would destroy his confidence.
Im sure there's parallels with Ronda's career too.
Well, the shots in which he did scramble, weren't exactly mosquito bites either. Carwin KO's most with that uppercut, and Cain caught him right on the button. I don't really know what the proper response to those shots would be. It's not like those were the only punches he ever ate. They were just nasty shots, that put him on queer street. That's fair, and why I didn't say ge had a bad chin. We're kinda saying the same thing. He just reacted awfully to getting hit.

How?Id assume Tom easily wins... would be fun as hell to see the fight play out.
Of course, and I'm saying that Brock ate all but two of those shots and handled them fine. When you're all discombobulated from a brutal shot, one has a tendency to scramble. Brock isn't exactly unique in that regard. I don't see the whole generalized "bad response" to getting punched thing from Lesnar. He got rocked a couple of times and scrambled. It happens to the most seasoned fighters.Sure, but it's not like most HW's don't have power. Most guys hit with force when they land and they're 250+ lbs.

Well, Shane wasn't wrong to do that. If it's not a title fight involving the company's cash cow, the fight is probably stopped 9 times out of 10 in that situation. Brock got a LOT of rope. Same thing could happen to anybody going for the finish and just not getting it.Difference with Tom and Carwin is that Shane didn't really have much of an option but to keep clubbing away. Tom is a legit BJJ black belt and if he's on top of you and you're that badly rocked he's going to finish you one way or another.

Easier said than done with a wild bull who was rocked, but not woozy to the point of making a submission easy. I think most go for the punch out, since transitioning to some submission is far more risky. I think the real culprit was Carwin's conditioning. He was kind of the perfect opponent for that to happen. And credit where credit is due. Lesnar took all that shit, and still managed to work his way back up to his feet. It's a bit Carwin energy dump, and a bit Lesnar having Homer Simpson syndrome.I agree to an extent but he didn't really have the option of thinking "I'm getting tired so I'll just arm triangle the fucker" which is what Aspinall would likely do
