How Do You Think Khamzat Will Perform Against Whittaker?

Assuming he actually makes it to the fight I can’t figure out how this will go down. Khamzat will almost certainly look to wrestle immediately but if Whittaker can avoid being taken down or avoid serious damage on the ground he can find his rhythm on the feet. Important to note that this is a fight round fight too. I’m as curious as anyone to see if Khamzat can live up to the hype here.
I just want him to show in the cage and make weight. I have zero expectations for him.

I strongly believe that Khamzat has some kind of chronic illness that has basically destroyed his conditioning, i think him and his team are keeping it on the lowdown. Whitaker will KO him in the 3rd or 4th once he gases. And i think he retires after this fight.
It started when he became buddy buddy with the chronically ill Russian warlord Ramzan Kadyrov.
Khamzat has been losing health while Kadyrov has been gaining it.
They probably take it away from him while he is asleep with medical equipment.
I never believe conspiracy theories so this must be true!

That’s quite possible. His fights look like he just wants to get a quick stoppage and avoid the later rounds.

Another W for Khamzat and a bunch of excuses from the haters. Rinse and repeat.

Prater is currently getting sherdog blowies for having a back and forth with Leech until the KO while khamzat literally flawless victories Leech and the majority were like who cares Leech isn't good.

I think Whittaker will end up having a nice striking match with Imavov

Covid really scarred Khamzat's lungs bro, guy got to finish people early or struggle later in the fight

I think khamzat knows cardio is in question and will take his slowest approach yet to throw rob off. Whittaker still has enough tools to beat him regardless, he just needs to avoid getting into absolute wars and not sweat the small stuff, openings will present themselves.

Im just gonna say i dunno. I feel like khamzat still hasnt put it all together, and may be he never will.

Yeah Whittaker is a known quantity, Khamzat is still pretty green in the sport, he might have improved a shitload in his layoff, I guess we'll find out.

I honestly think Khamzat does what DDP did but faster

Hard to say

We know Khamzat goes hard at the opening bell and Rob just has to survive it honestly

The entire first round will be very dangerous for Robert

If it goes to rounds 3-5 then Rob should start his chipping away process

Whittaker finishes him

He has arguably the most elite TDD in MMA history and is a top 3 striker in MW history, the DDP fight was an anomaly

Former LW old man Burns dropped Khamzat and gave him all he could handle, I don't think this will be all that close

Essentially, this is the fight to determine if Khamzat is legitimate or not. Burns is somewhat overrated and the Usman fight was far too short notice to warrant any stock over it, and it looks like Usman was on his way to winning if it were a five rounder anyway.

If this is a five rounder, Khamzat needs a finish. All signs point to Whitaker taking it at this point as long as he can avoid the takedown, problem is I'm not sure if he can. My initial prediction was Khamzat via sub by round 2 or 3, and that's what I'm sticking with.

Even though he gets a lot of hate and doubters thrown his way I still think Khamzat is pretty legit and his initial hype was warranted. Yeah his cardio is iffy, but he hasn't shown us that he'll gas out to death like Abus or Gaziev yet.
