How Do You Think Khamzat Will Perform Against Whittaker?

Assuming he actually makes it to the fight I can’t figure out how this will go down. Khamzat will almost certainly look to wrestle immediately but if Whittaker can avoid being taken down or avoid serious damage on the ground he can find his rhythm on the feet. Important to note that this is a fight round fight too. I’m as curious as anyone to see if Khamzat can live up to the hype here.

If he makes it to the cage, he will destroy Khamzat.

Honestly if he doesn't stop Rob in the first round I think it will go badly for him to be completely honest sir.

If the fight happens, I think Whittaker gets the finish within 3 rounds

But who knows

Typical Khamzat, looks good early and then adrenaline dumps. Whitaker has to survive the first two rounds then pour on the gas later and beat him up.

To be honest I haven't even thought that far ahead because I just want the fight to actually happen, I'm just always waiting for yet another issue as to why he can't fight comes up. IF the fight does happen my initial feeling is Whittaker by decision, but haven't fought about how the fight might go much, just want to see them there

Dricus als fought at 170lbs, not a fair indicator. Pereira IS huge, Izzy is not...he's tall but look how thin his limbs are, how narrow his shoulders and torso is. Izzy is long and tall, uses it well but he's not big in my opinion...neither is Sean, another former 170lber.

I always looked at Rob as small too but he didn't look that small next to Brunson or Hall to me and I always considered them on the larger side. Robs also physical which counts for a lot. But I think Khamzats size at 185lbs is fairly medium too personally. He's not Rumble.

Whittaker's physique is almost an enigma to me. He has the look and also moves like a guy that you'd expect be good at running, doing obstacle courses and what not, great cardio too. Very cat like, quick, etc.

But also, if you look at close up photos of him he's at the same time built like a tank. It's quite crazy. It's like he's got a bit of both worlds.

Before the Usman fight I would have said that Khamzat really would struggle with Bobby Knuckles but after seeing Khamzats takedowns against Usman I am convinced this goes to the ground quite a lot. If Khamzat comes in healthy he takes it, especially since it's a three rounder, he will definately win the first two and I don't see him getting finished in the third. But most likely Khamzat via sub early round 2.

Yeah, anything but accepting a daggy is under performing
We gonna pretend that Khamzat didn't literally cough up blood and hasn't been hospitalized multiple times since then? You might have DDS, Dagestan Derangement Syndrome.

Like always, he’ll be a nightmare in the first round and then look beatable if Rob survives. If a guy like Burns can drop and take Khamzat to the brink, Rob can.

His TDD and submission defense just has to be on point in the first.

I don't really kwow about Whittaker takedowns defense and submissions defense
