How do I get my 10 year old brother into UFC/MMA?

LOL that would be nice but My father is a recovered drug addict (who never raised me cuz jail) and this woman he had my brother with is an alcoholic with little to no parental rights. The grandparents have it together, but I really don't think they care for my dread-rasta dad, they want full custody over my kid brother. They look after him on alternate weekends and pay for all his sports programming. My dad provides room and board.

But you were right that she's younger and wants my dad bad lol

Well, looks like we've got the dysfunctional family so that is a good start. I don't think promoting the actual fighting and violence of the sport is a good idea.

But, we all know that guy that has 2 beers and wants to fight everyone, if only his buddy wasn't holding him back of course. A moderate level of MMA training builds self confidence to not be that guy.

So my recommendation is get the kid a fake id, take him to the bars at closing time to meet that guy, and when he asks how to bang the bar flies tell him kickboxing with solid take down defense.

The last thing I would want for anyone I cared about is for them to go into MMA as a career. I would say the same thing about football; the odds of making any money and not taking injuries for free in high school and maybe college make it not even close to worthwhile.

Baseball, soccer, pickle ball and basketball all have the same benefits without the considerable downsides. Why not stir a kid in a positive direction?

Don't let your brother grow up to be a Tito. I mean isn't that a sobering thought?

Been trying to get my kids to enjoy it with me their whole life and they have no interest.

Just let the kid do what he wants. If he likes the sport then great. If he doesn't, then he is probably not cut out for it anyway. Just athleticism isn't enough

#PowerSlap di gateway drug mi bredda easy fi overstand di game 👋🏿💥

start wid UFC him see 1 BBJ crotch sniff sequence an' di yute cyall ting sus BET 👀🦇♂️

First you gotta make sure he's a mixed race kid. Then you put him into martial arts.

Then he will be doing mixed martial arts.

Him being bigger and stronger at 10 can easily be a bad thing too. Kids that are ahead in development at that age get by on their size and strength and then when puberty hits and everyone else catches up it wont work for them anymore.
