I had Tsurukyan winning 4 rounds just based on damage. The fifth he lost but yeah
 
Gamrot had a slight edge with the hands and the wrestling, Arman had the kicks. Bottom line, crazy close, absolutely could have gone either way - both fighters are just so extremely talented (amazing).

What damage however? There would be a point if the only thing that landed successfully for him, which were body kicks, actually had an impact on Gamrots performance. On the other hand, Armans face was clearly busted and with him desperately looking at the clock and his general demeanor as fight progressed he has shown that the grappling exchanges and take downs are wearing him down. It was also obvious that Gamrot was getting take downs more easily.

Arman also saved himself with extremely blatant, repeated fence grabbing, if not for that he might have been submitted in round 2 by a fresher Gamrot.
 
Had it as a fairly clear 3-2 for Arman. Amazing fight regardless and i became a huge fan of both after this to be honest.
 
Poll suggests fair close , could go either way. Draw should be an option in poll.

Super close fight

It's been a while since I was standing up hollering at the TV during scambles and the ground work.

That is what a fight between two top prospects should look like. Much respect to both, and I don’t think the loss will hurt Arman too much

I think Tsarukyan because even in rounds where Gamrot managed to control Arman, it was 1,5 minutes out of 5 with no damage or sub attempts. Meanwhile, Arman was winning the standup quite clearly, landing much harder shots and outlanding Mateusz in every single round. I think what happened here is that, once again, hard body kicks are being dismissed in favor of punches - this has always been the case with these dumbass commission pencil-pushers who, it seems, have not trained a day in their life.
 
I had Arman winning but it was super close and there’s not really a loser in this one.
 
3-2 for Gamrot, actually very easy to score and the judges did a great job!

Arman broke in the break between the 2nd and the 3rd.. you could tell this not only by his face but then especially by the pussy move at the beginning of the 3rd where he faked a fist bump and kicked him instead (he did something similar at the beginning of the 4th as well).

shat I even think Gamrot was more tired physically but mentally he was just on point snd that made the big difference.

It legit could have gone either way. I can’t score it. There's something wrong with the judges. I agree that grappling is a huge part of the game, but then again shouldn't Santos be the champ right now tho?

Gamrot absorbed much more damage than Armen. The wrestling was basically even the entire fight.

Without context of round by round, doing more overall damage doesn't win you a fight
