How could anyone vote Republican after watching those spineless candidates in that god-awful debate?

Not exactly objective sources...

Read the 3 paragraph quote from Forbes I quoted to see how silly it is to try to undermine Trump because he received an inheritance, which may or may not range from 50 million to a few hundred million.

He should have failed if he was just some wealthy heir.

Your expectations of him are pretty low if you thought the task him just putting all his money into an index fund was too much of a challenge.

Okay, you win, Trump is a low IQ buffoon. I concede.

That's actually inaccurate, he was not left nearly that much.

See my above post. If you think any idiot can do what he did, how he did, for as long as he did it, to end up where he is today, we simply see the world very differently.

Any idiot could certainly do what he did. I don't think that's even debatable. An idiot could have blown the money, too, but one who had no involvement in business could have done better than he did. I personally know someone who inherited a huge sum (her brother, who inherited the same amount owned a MLB team) and has grown it at a better rate.

Maybe he should run for president. Apparently any idiot can, so it sounds like he has a good shot.

He isn't an idiot in my opinion. I think he is actually a pretty smart guy but he isn't some business genius. The smartest thing he ever did was game the bankruptcy laws so that every time one of his companies went bankrupt, he was still protected.

Sure. It says I want to end all this illegal immigration and welfare nonsense. And I don't want to be FORCED to buy health insurance.

K you should seriously buy health insurance, though. You're a much bigger drain on the system than anyone on welfare if you have a health emergency and don't have insurance.

Not every rich person is a viable presidential candidate. I don't say that any idiot can attract the kind of attention that Trump is. Just that any idiot could grow their fortune the way he has.

All I was ever saying is that he's not an idiot. He may not be of Van Goethe status, but let's be realistic here, he's obviously game.

Check out that video, though, even beyond the Trump debate, it's an interesting look at finance.

Certainly. Money May is a prime example.

I can tell this batch of candidates is the worst I've ever seen because I'm rooting for the reality TV star and George W.'s brother is my second choice.

I'm the same. I love listening to them get all excited. I can't stop laughing. This last debate was the best ever. It's hard to imagine how crazy this election will get. I'm pumped.

Mark Levine said last week

"Our country has no morals and ethics because Obama puts his feet up on the White House desk and takes his blazer off in the Oval Office."

He finds that to be the ruination of our society

Sure, and he also just happens to be functional illiterate.

Maybe he should run for president.

I don't get what you're trying to say. But he'd probably be no worse than Ted Cruz or Marco Rubio.

Actually, he'd probably be better. Sometimes it takes someone who is not indoctrinated to see the obvious.

can't say i'd vote for trump but he had a moment in the NH debate that was impressive. they were asking the candidates about north korea, and trump was the only one to discuss the US relationship with China. which tells me he has at least some understanding of the region - north korea and taiwan have been central chess pieces in any talks w/ china and regional influence.

where as the other candidates just spouted off rather unimpressive tough guy talk. which resulted in boilerplate clapping and boos for trump, which again didn't deter him from making the points.
