How come not one Journalist calls Ronda Rousey out for being OVER-RATED?

No journo questions the depth of her competition or her claiming gender doesn't matter, she's the best fighter at 135 bar none.

Or claiming to be able to beat Floyd or any person in the world really.

Is the feminist agenda that strong?
You must not be familiar with how press passes are handed out, shit thread.

It is funny. Most champions get criticised in some shape or form, even contenders, in MMA media given the quality of their competition but Rousey is absolutely exempt.

MMA media is, more or less, owned by Zuffa, that's why. They don't mind someone like Conor being focused on coz he's beaten fighters who have proven themselves to be legitimate fighters, so the numbers speak for themselves. Ronda however, smashes girls who have mostly decisioned far, far lesser fighters and therefore, it suggests she's being fed cans. Most MMA fans know the likes of Poirier and Mendes aren't cans. Most MMA fans, after reading a clinical breakdown of Rousey's opponents' careers, wold realise just how lowly these fighters are.

How can Ronda be overrated when she is the most dominant athlete in MMA history?

Oh right, haters gonna hate.

Well spoken

Nowadays feminism is really annoying.

We're threatened because we fear WMMA might actually stick around with all this popularity one person is getting, completely ruining the sport of MMA for fans of actual technique and skill.
You mean like Gina Carano?
Or, using your own argument, maybe the talent pool in WMMA is shallow because of the lack of opportunities. If more women get involved in MMA, then more chance of improvement in women's divisions.
Reality is that you didn't hear people bitching about MMA having no talent because nobody could beat Anderson Silva, just the Middleweight division. And, just like now, it was just people bitching because they didn't like the champ, so belittled their accomplishments.
You want people to stop praising Rousey? Not going to happen.
I want people to stop trashing Rousey. Also not going to happen.
C'est la vie.

"Hardcore MMA fans" ie; anti-WMMA fans are more annoying now than the 'TUF NEWBS' they so claim to hate.

Think about this. Joe Rogan was about to cry watching Ronda beat a -1500 underdog. This entire situation is just destroying peoples ability to think rationally.

Because if their argument resembled your post, it wouldn't make it to publishing.

She's overrated due to lack of depth in her competition? Then who should be placed above her? Create the list.

As to claiming to beat Floyd, welcome to the long list of MMA fighters who claim they can beat boxers. McGregor says it as often as Ronda does, and neither of them are original. I've never seen MMA fans so quickly defend boxing.

Feminist agenda? You're projecting. It's more like self-promotion, and Ronda is good at it. She's also very good at fighting, given the results and level of compensation she receives. The rest is noise.

RR is clearly a pioneer/trendsetter/etc. She's highly skilled and works hard. She's the best women's fighter we've ever seen.

You can't talk about lack of competition or can-crushing or the newness of the sport, even as a caveat, simply because if you do...you're sexist and hate women.

This is the world we live in today. You question a woman? Sexist. You stick up for a woman? Sexist. You question someone of a different ethnicity? Racist. You try to be an advocate for people of a different ethnicity? You're condescending and racist.

It's easier to just go with it and say she's Mike Tyson (lol), the best women's athlete (rofl), and probably one of the best combat athletes we've ever seen (hahaha).

Ronda is incredible, but she's none of those things above.
