First of all real mma fans knows that Andrei Arlovski surpassed his time already in 2006 after he lost against Tim Sylvia twice. He made his biggest fight against Fedor 2009 and was somehow close to best Fedor until he got ko:d after a flying knee attempt

Since then he have just beated some decent names. Many losses in a row but still somehow keep fighting

I must give him cred for his body shape, no dad bods whatsoever in sight. Will he retire if he will lose his next bout or keep fighting??

Second question, who do you want him to fight before he will retire?

Because he wants to?

Some fighters just love fighting and retire way too late.

GSP gets a lotta shit but he retired at the right time. Fedor, Silva, BJ and other OG greats pushed themselves way too far.

Close to best Fedor... People are still pushing this narrative? He landed nothing and got brutally KOed.

He probably made close to 1mil last year. Hard to stop fighting when you get that kind of money.

Fighting is good for Andre. It's 2020 and he's looking like a young Mike Perry.

he was winning until he lost
Yes, and his style gave Fedor some trouble at first. But I also think Arlovski’s success in that fight is a bit overstated. He never landed anything significant, or had Fedor hurt or rocked. And we’re talking about a 3 minute period of time roughly. Fight ended mid-way through Round 1.

3 good wins and he'll get a title shot

Why not? The guy's already destined for CTE. He's free to milk his professional longevity as a result.

I find it surprising that the UFC is cool with paying him as much as they do to be buried on the prelims these days. Especially as tight as they can be sometimes on fighter pay. I know it's probably loyalty/respect and I could understand allowing it to happen a few times but it seems he's been in that situation for a few years now.

Exactly this....Arlovski needed smelling salts to wake up...he was knocked out cold...

Because he can’t sing or dance and it beats working for a living
