I loved my grandparents, all four of whom are now gone, as are both of my parents.

I still have heirlooms from my grandmothers displayed in my home.

As for Pennington, I'm not sure many people "hate" her. And really, it's not about her at all. It's more about the state of the division, and possibly wmma in general (for some people). Pennington seems like a reasonable and nice person, but her actual skill level and athleticism is entirely unremarkable. The fact that someone with her abilities is a "UFC Champion" feels absurd and is an indictment of the division. I don't think many of us would shed any tears if the UFC just scrapped 135 entirely.

If strickland got injured and had to retire today I wouldn't feel bad for him one bit. One day karma gonna hit that ass hole and he's going to deserve every bit of it. I won't feel for him strickland is a trash human being and so are his fans.
 
It's not like both Colby and Strickland don't also get a lot of hate and I doubt everybody hates Pennington. I don't hate her.

I agree that it's ridiculous to hate her, just like it's ridiculous to hate most fighters. Nevertheless people hate on fighters for the dumbest reasons all the time. That's the sad reality of SD for as long as I've visited this place.

However, not everybody gives a shit about the fighters personal lives and just want to be entertained by them. So in that case, a good amount of people will at the very least not be very fond of Pennington because they don't feel entertained by her. Some, for that reason, might actually hate on her, which again is ridiculous and very self-entitled, but it's the answer to the question in the titel.

Can respect a fighter’s character and crap on their fighting style just like you can like a person’s fighting style and crap on their character.

I don’t think it needs much explaining which category Rocky probably falls in to.
