How big of a hit will RDA’s stock take if he actually loses to Colby?

The consensus is RDA is gonna smash Colby but on the off chance he doesn’t how bad would he look for losing? Would it be Aldo and Alvarez levels or something else entirely?

He's not really been tested against a bigger wrestler at 170lbs yet so I think its more an unknown than anything.

Is it really the consensus? I think RDA should be favorite, but as much as i dislike Colby, he is legit AF imo.

Colby was favourite on the bookies so its not the consesus. I feel like RDA has overachieved at welter so a loss to colby wont do much.

It won't be near anywhere close to Aldo's loss in stock. He went from being one of the goats and all time greats to being known as the 13 second guy ( sadly)

Given how highly rated RDA is, he loses quite a lot.

Consensus hey, well the gambling odds do not support your outrageous claim.

Lol there's no consensus here.

I think RDA takes it via better striking and cardio but Colby (8-1 in UFC, 13-1 overall) is a very good fighter and has an advantage in the wrestling. Colby is also taller, more reach in arms and legs, more experience in the WW division. This is going to be a tough fight for both.

He's fighting a great American. There's no pressure on him to win.

If RDA loses he could well be relegated to entertainment value only, like Cowboy was.

I don't know about the consensus.

Anyway, it would depend on how I lost. If he gets simply dry-humped, I don't think many would lose respect for his skills.

Might take a dip initially. Depends on how Covington does moving forward though.

He's just one fight away from title talk at all times

This could be his last shot at a title if he loses. He'd be 3-1 in the division with Tyquil, Snoozeman, and CringeCo all in front of him. Since he lost his last 2 at lw, he'd have a lot of work to do there also. That's what happens to his "stock" as far as rankings go.

His "stock" as an exciting and entertaining fighter doesn't change much.

The consensus? Colby is favored, and rightfully so, so that means most people playing with their money are picking him when it counts. Sherdog hates Colby tho, since it is full of MMA hipsters, dweebs and NERDS who nearly go catatonic when someone does anything that resembles Conor, who is the equivelant of Trump to ANTIFA. Colby geniusly combine the troll game of both Conor and Trump and has rustled more berries than any fighter I have recalled.

His Brazilian countrymen who love him so much will want him executed, or at least robbed and left naked in the streets

Imo, not much. He's a LW that would be 3-1 at WW. RDA is an incredibly resilient guy, he's proven that numerous times.
