He literally knocked out an old fat man, who lets be honest, wasn’t a threat to Mike Perry.
I think the real issue here is your justifying a UFC fighter assaulting a regular person.
 
Diaz brothers literally jump Mayhem Miller on camera for trying to hype a fight in Nashville - "Mayhem should have known better".
Diaz brothers pick a fight with Khabib's team and throw drinks at him - "Talk shit, get hit."
Mike Perry punches someone who is challenging him to a fight and directly coming at him - "He is a menace to society and should be in jail"
Y'all are racist AF.
 
All silliness aside as to how funny Perry is, that was super unnecessary for a UFC caliber fighter to be KOing an old man, whether he came at him first or not. He was in no danger, that guy was no threat.

Looks even worse when you take into account that Perry hit an employee of the restaurant (allegedly) and a woman (allegedly) before the video was even captured.
 
I think we need to know exactly what started the altercation. However, from what I saw was Perry acting belligerent and making no efforts to deescalate the situation. Hell, he seems to be exacerbating it.

I don’t necessarily see anything wrong with defending himself as it appeared the guy stepped towards him. However he should assess the guy was no real threat to him and I believe he shouldn’t have put himself in the situation to begin with. Irresponsible and reckless on his part imo.

As a pro fighter, I think you have a responsibility to avoid violence outside the cage. Really I think that goes for anybody, violence is rarely the answer. I think Perry should have avoided letting it get to that point, but I just didn’t see that. He looked to be looking for a reason to get violent.

Perry actually stepped towards the old man first. People claim he rushed him. Like i said in another thread, thank goodness the old man wasn't seriously injured or killed. Perry's life would've been over.

I would say half and half. Nobody needs to get that worked up and assault someone because you can't control your ego. Nobody deserved that and Mike Perry is a racist price of shit who most likely lost his job.

wasn’t assault. The man came after him and reached for him. As a trained fighter he moved and attacked.

If he wasn’t a trained fighter they would of tangled ugly and messy.

I don’t like it but he didn’t do anything wrong

Yeah the old fat dude rushed him attacking him after mocking him, it’s obvious in the video.
It wasn’t an unprovoked attack like when Conor sucker punched the old dude who refused his whiskey
 
I'm with Perry. He dropped those N bombs too easily for my taste but everything else is justified.
 
What Mike Perry did is no worse than what McGregor did. Conor punched an innocent man who was just sitting down and remember when he through a fkng dolly through a bus window at UFC employees. To me theyre on the same levels of douche.
