Law House GOP sides with Trump and goes after Liz Cheney

What percentage of elections are landslides by your standard?
Still waiting on you to answer my questions from the last time we discussed this exact thing. If you stop running away from every conversation as soon as you face scrutiny, you might be worth my time.

The majority of voters isn't the majority of the country, unless you consider 77/334 a majority?
Yeah, nobody is trying to hear that. For 8 years the big counter talking point to Trump's success was that Hillary and Biden won the popular vote and Trump doesn't represent the majority Americans. That doesn't magically disappear as a meaningful talking point just because Trump won the popular vote.

It might be good to see this through, really. If there are people who actually believe the "lawfare" claims about Trump, they might be under the impression that it's very easy to make a case and convict someone with no basis. They'll find that it actually isn't if they try to do it for real. It's like how Republicans tried to get false SA accusations about Buttigieg out there.
Well, they watched congress fumble around and fail to impeach Biden, and have apparently learned all of jack shit from that, so…

Liz Cheney wants endless war in Afghanistan. She wanted to de-fund the withdrawal.

Trump U alum, explain the “sequence” I can’t follow?

As you can see by likes and replies ITT, you have been absolutely cucked.
You’ve used the term retard and cuck over and over like a broken record. That isn’t the win you think it is. You’ve gotten likes from @AWilder, @Jack V Savage, and @Andy Capp who three of the biggest Democrat hacks on this forum. Referencing your forum popularity is the same fallacy you and @heloder were screeching about with approval ratings.

Sad deflection from an indefensible point.

All I want from you is a yes or no:

Do you personally believe a majority of voters is the same as a majority of the population?

Did you answer the question I asked you in this thread?

Weird way to avoid my point.

No, and it never was. Yet only now do you make this distinction. Again, nobody is trying to hear that now just because Trump won.

My position has always been that the two cohorts are different.

The weight of the popular vote is far too complex an issue to discuss with someone as intellectually limited and rabidly partisan as you, but I'll give you this gift:

The electoral college situation is about to become absolutely catastrophic for Democrats. I have no idea how this can be stopped outside of an unimaginable blue shift in Texas or Florida.

Do people here not pay attention to anything happening in the rest of the world?

Do you have any idea what happened this year in every developed country in the world for the first time in recorded history?
This question?

Covid aside, people are tired of violent criminals not being caught and released on gun charges based on their skin color, uncontrolled illegal immigration, and woke cultural nonsense. These all played a major role in the loss the democrats just suffered. When asked on television if Harris would do anything different from the current administration she said no. That was the nail in her coffin.

She didn’t lose because she was an unlikeable candidate because Trump is just as much if not more. She lost because she ran on unpopular policies, which was the relevance of me bringing up Biden’s approval ratings that @JBJisGOAT14 and @heloder weren’t smart enough to comprehend.

Hope that clarifies things. Maybe I didn’t get my points across clearly last night as I had come off a very long work day and hadn’t much sleep. Not to mention I don’t treat my ADHD.

Jesus Christ what a fucking crybaby.

Sure if she's guilty that's bad, especially given how important the case against Trump is.

My point is that the purpose of targeting Cheney is not about maintaining rule of law, it's about punishing those who tried to hold Trump accountable.

Wth are you even trying to say here?
The same people bitch about anything trump and are followed by one another for pages on end. Scroll up.

No.

Please reply to the question I asked you specifically so that the question and your reply to that question are in the same post.

That was the question you asked me specifically.

If you weren’t referencing Covid and inflation then what were you referencing. What happened in every developed country? No need to be cryptic, just tell me what you want an answer to

I know this is irrelevant because Trump could appoint the corpse of Epstein for a cabinet position and you’d be thrilled.

But more than 1% of billionaires were inducted into his cabinet (7 in his cabinet, roughly 700 billionaires). It’s kinda ironic to play that “elitist” beat here.
When they say "elites" and "elitists" they're not really referring to economic elites, they're referring to urban liberals.

Someone like the owner of a used car dealership might be rich but they have no prestige compared to a journalist or college professor and some of them carry a chip on their shoulder over it.

Even DeSantis in his book says the owner of an oil company is less of an elite than a college professor, kind of insane if you ask me.

Here is the main point:

The report singles out Cheney for prosecution for her role in working with one of the star witnesses against Trump, former White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson, who provided some of the most detailed descriptions of the defeated president’s actions that day.

Hutchinson had testified before the January 6 committee in 2022 hearing that she had not been forthcoming during her first interviews with the panel and had a “moral struggle” and wanted to return.

She eventually ditched her Trump-aligned lawyer and later delivered a blockbuster public hearing, describing Trump at the White House as the Capitol riot unfolded.

Cheney, in her own account in her book “Oath and Honor” of the committee’s work, had been crucial in meeting with Cassidy and worried for her safety as she decided to come forward.

Loudermilk’s panel concludes these actions are witness tampering and grounds for prosecution.

“Numerous federal laws were likely broken by Liz Cheney,” the committee wrote in its conclusion. “These violations should be investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.”

Liz Cheney illegally went behind Cassidy Hutchinson's lawyer's back and suddenly Cassidy's testimony became seriously salacious and anti-Trump. Cassidy's new testimony possessed obvious lies, such as Trump fighting for control of The Beast with the Secret Service. She needs to answer where she got such a lie from, if not Cheney. Cheney looks very sketchy here and we should all want to know if she tampered with a January 6 witness.
Tbh... I'd rather it all get out behind us... they are doing it now due to majority and new fbi head but at some point it just needs to all go away.

What are you talking about? Are you refusing to answer here because you think the GOP line is too embarrassing to defend?

Why wouldn't I refuse to answer someone who refuses to answer me first? We already did this subject, bud. You high tailed it out of there when pressed on your logic.

You're lying about that, though. And the reason you'd answer a question is that it's a discussion. If you're not capable of that, why even post here?
