Relationships Horse girls get too much hate

I knew a girl who had a horse and riding was a big part of her life. She used to do jumping competitions and that kind of shit. Honestly, she was pretty normal. She had a good job, decent friend group, normal social skills, etc. Maybe I just met the exception.

Horses seem to have an insane amount of maintenance associated with them.

And they get little illnesses or things if you don't brush them, wash them, maintain their hooves, etc.

But if she can afford the time and money to do all that and doesn't ask you to help in any way, then no prob.

My manager lives on a ranch just outside of Austin and owns horses. She's pretty cool. She also races motorcross.

Although she's 48, never been married and no kids. Not that there's anything wrong with that

Hay burners. I’ve always found horse girls to make it their entire personality. “I couldn’t live without my horses…”

So, I've realized that a disproportionate amount of the women I've dated (to include my current gf) have been horse girls. I only recently realized that some folks see that as a massive red flag, but that hasn't been my experience. The main issue I see people mention is that they're crazy, and, I mean, yeah, but no more than most women. And at least they're crazy in a way that's kind of hot. The second is that their horse will always be their priority, but that's not such a bad thing. I hate when women constantly need my full, undivided attention at all times. I have my own interests, and I need my time to myself. Moreover, as much as I couldn't give any less of a fuck about horses, in general, I find women who are passionate about something pretty charming, even if it's something I don't care about.

Also, as a bonus, horse girls tend to be in that golden zone where they're well off enough that they don't need you to provide for them, but not so rich that they expect you to pay for vacations to Tuscany every year or whatever.
I had a thing with a horse girl once and she was on the crazy side, but inherently I find it sexy AF and it shows a lot of good qualities: outdoors type, dedication, being healthy, likely traditional values, not into vain stupid shit, etc.

I thought this thread was gonna be about women who looked like Sarah Jessica Parker

I thought this thread was gonna be about actual horse girls...

But really, is that any different than any other serious hobby? Lifting weights also takes up a lot of time and energy. Honestly, the fact that she's so passionate about something completely separate from me is a plus. It means that she's more likely to respect the fact that I have passions separate from her.

Where does this leave the girls who aspire to be real horse girls but can't quite afford it?

Not an exception Bw.
NO Wimpy people, mentally or physicalyl, are going to be a competent equestrian.

What are you thinking?
Is it different than what I'm thinking?
As a dude that lived in horse country in NC (USA) growing up with and around "horse chicks" - they are as kickass people as it gets. The farm living ladies I grew up around are physical specimens that are comfortable, to me fearless, walking with a 35 - 50 pound saddle in their arms going up to a HUGE creature (4-500 kilos) and letting that horse know "it's on, let's do this".

N-n-n-naaaaaay

Someone had to

Women like riding horses because of the clitoral stimulation. Case closed.

Was waiting for somebody to say that. That has been an obvious fact since ancient times and is why sidesaddles were developed.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sidesaddle

"In Europe, the sidesaddle developed in part because of cultural norms which considered it unbecoming for a woman to straddle a horse while riding. This was initially conceived as a way to protect the hymen of aristocratic girls, and thus the appearance of their being virgins."

Yeah I think that's why a lot of people are weirded out by horse people. Like it's normal to just be riding around having an orgasm in front of your family or something lol
