Kinda funny games absolutely rave about it. Yes they're Sony fan boys but the same things seem to show up.in every review. Deep, we'll written story that keeps you hooked till the end. Challenging satisfying combat, gorgeous graphics and the fact it does stand up to or surpass PS4s other exclusives.

Fair to say I'm fucking stoked to play this and will either pick it up tomorrow nite at midnight or Tuesday at 8am
 
Countdown timer going my digital pre order. Should have it loaded up when I wake for work tomorrow. Probably only going to get an hour or 2 to play between launch and the weekend.

Luckily tomorrow's my day off so I'm hoping to get in about 3 or 4 hours in before my kid gets out of school.

Kinda funny said it's 2nd, only behind TLOU, in terms of Playstation exclusives.

Yes better than Bloodborne, Nioh, Infamous, and even Uncharted. Really hyped for this
 
Not sure if I can play it anymore... watched the opening cut scenes and it really hit the "Uncanny Valley" for me... Especially the child Aloy... :eek:
 
Got it a day early via amazon. Watched the intro just to wet my appetite, will continue it later today. Excited to play this. Graphics are gorgeous and animations and everything look top notch. Can't wait to get the the actual gameplay.

I'm so torn on this. I'm excited to play this and will get a little time in before the weekend, but then Zelda: Breath of the Wild hits on Friday and I think I'm going to have to bounce over to that. I've been going back and forth on what I will play and finish first, and the pull to Zelda is strong.
 
Got this shit pre-loaded and ready to go for tomorrow morning after the gym. Hyped.

Zelda looks fucking awesome. Every time one comes out I miss having a nintendo. Too bad I'd never be able to sell the old lady on a third console
 
Watched a stream for a bit this morning. No idea how the movement and mechanics feel but the graphics and world look really cool.
 
First impressions after playing for an hour or two:

-Game looks fantastic on the playstation pro
-Good voice acting
-Combat mechanics are great and fluid
-Playing on hard mode and combat is difficult but rewarding


I'm loving it so far. Combat is infinitely better than The Witcher 3.
 
Definitely gonna pick this up at somepoint i have too much to play atm though.

Not really, I'm resigned to never playing another Zelda game. Shit I've yet to even open my Xbox one. I'd rather not buy another console that I literally play for one game

I know I've missed so many Zelda games. It's amazing to me that no one has copied that formula at this point. I'll take a clone at this point I don't care.
 
looks like 3rd person far cry, checklist roaming. what makes this different to those who've played?
