Homegym MEGA Thread

They have weird inventory issues. Like they haven't combined the stock between 3 warehouses.

Gonna have to draw up the idea. Want to add a 30" section off to the side and move the lever arms to permanent location. If they are down and easy to load, then might actually use them. Will be out of the way and then have 2 more post for attachments. Dip horns won't stab the kids in the back when they are swinging on rope climb. The sales guy didn't miss a beat, he said you know Orange and Matte Black would look amazing. thanks buddeh
He's right though, orange and black does sound like the best option. It would be nice to have the space for your dilemma. I'm not convinced I have the room to turn my squat stand into a half rack because I'd have to move it a few inches out from the wall.

Whats the total room look like? Have only ever seen the angled shot without surroundings.

Tractor Supply has railroad ties for $18 . Backyard obstacle ideas. An over / under jump and crawl set up. And a chest high hurdle for bags and wall hop.

I like buying cheap shit that I may only use a handful of times.

I now own the proper size sockets to get my Titan pulley gimmick assembled. Then I'll just need to borrow the proper type drill to bolt to the wall (I don't think mine is strong enough to drill into concrete). Then all that's left is to pray I don't hit wires or a water pipe.

Hammer drill and concrete drill bit
A standard drill might work, it'll just take much longer.

Same advise I give women before a date. It's good to start really small, then work your way up. Don't go rooting that hole out so big that shit just falls out of it.

So i may have hinted at the idea of building a Deadlift Platform at home to my wife.... she seemed receptive to the idea. Time to start planning!

You got a truck? 1 cut of wood and a blade to trim up stall mats is all you need. And the HomeLowes store will cut the board for free.

One of the quickest and easiest DiY add ons. It's big and bulky but you can get a lot of use out of platform.

I decided I'm going to weld up a SSB.
Emailed BoS to see if they would sell me the shoulder pads and they said they would send them free of charge. Great people there.
Now I need to figure out all the dimensions and angles.

Here's the dimensions on Rep's SSB, longer than the BoS. I think I read that most SSBs have a camber angle of 22 degrees. Look forward to seeing what you come up with.
