Tricep pushdown bar from Steadfast came in today early enough for me to try it out during my workout. If you don't mind waiting a couple of weeks for shipping I would recommend it. Really liked the way it felt compared to the rope I have been using. $40 plus shipping for a bendy piece of metal, but the price isn't too bad compared to a bunch of similar items I've seen. Made in America too if that's something you appreciate.

Axle bar is the go to for Press. Feels much better than small bar. Rows is hit/miss, forearms and grip give out before target muscles. Like to mix in Cleans with it, being the stiff bar doesn't whip and ends don't spin.Wouldn't mind an SSB and an Axle bar just for playing around with / accessory work. Need to grab some more plates too
I'm not personally a fan of the elliptical or treadmills.I'm considering moving my car out of the garage so I have almost the whole thing (besides bikes, motorcycle, snowblower, etc.) to use as a gym. My plan to build a shed gym is probably at least one more full year away as I pay off the new roof I had to get last year. And my plan to marry a rich a doctor is on hold while I'm dating a teacher.
My car is a lease, so I'm a little hesitant to leave it outside, but when the lease is up I'm looking to buy something used and manly (like a big truck that says "I have a huge dong" on the side) that can live outside.
In the meantime, I've got to get my Titan Wall-mounted pulley put together.
Any thoughts on cardio equipment for home use? I'm thinking of an elliptical. Something to use for early morning cardio during the winter when it's cold as balls and pitch black outside at 5-5:30. I have an Echo Bike which I love for HIIT, but for steady state it's not the best.

Jump rope is probably the best bang for your buck.
spin bike or rower would be my favourite for SS (but I like to mix them up within a workout)
Get the concept rower / Ski erg built on bottom comboA jump rope would definitely be more cost effective. I had thought about a spin bike or a rower, but was thinking I want something where I'm not sitting, since I already have the Echo. I am intrigued by those climber things. They don't seem very popular, but I don't know if that means they aren't any good.
Maybe it's as simple as getting a jump rope and alternating between jumping rope, riding the Echo, and doing KB swings or something to kill the 30 minutes. I've actually grown to like running outside, but this time of year it just sucks here a lot of days, especially when it gets icy.
Thanks, man!
Everyone have decent heating for Jan-Feb months or just say fk it and wear more clothes?
Even 1 step further and ditch the home gym for commercial membership until it's above freezing
Still a novice in strongman world, learned yesterday there's such thing as a grip shirt. Cerberus was doing some circus dumbell pressing and said check out our new grip shirt. Would have never noticed. Thought, that's simplified genius.Usually chuck a hoodie on otherwise its still shorts for working out, but this winter's been rather cold at times here in the UK so i picked up a pair of Cerberus's Joggers to give a try to keep warm.

For the most part, it's fantastic living under a rock. No news, no TV, no current social shit rammed up your ass, you don't hate people bc you don't know what they're doing, no celebrity drama making you shake your head. But on the small hand, you miss out on some info in your ecosystem from not even knowing it was a thing. Next you're gonna tell me that Liver guy might not be natty.Yeah they've been more and more of a regular thing for the past 3-4 years, more and more companies are making them. Evolution Athletics (Brian Shaw's company), Rogue, Silverback and A7 make them from what i remember

Almost have to decide if it's worth the funds. Can you handle the elements or do you have to have a 70-75 degree low humidity room to workout?I wear an Underarmor long sleeve shirt that is designed for the cold under a hoodie and a winter hat. The shirt really does make a big difference. And I have mechanics gloves so my hands don't freeze on the bars. I have an old house with an old drafty garage. I got a space heater last year and it didn't do shit. This winter hasn't been too bad yet (knock on all the fudging wood). I live in Jersey, so we get winter, but it's not like Maine or anything.
