Holyfield cheating accusations by Bobby Czyz

Holyfield was able to develop an immunity to snake venom.
What he would do is dip his mouth piece in it. Let his saliva pick up some of the snake venom.... and then he would gleek (lycos it if you don't know what it means) the saliva/snake venom out of his mouth into his opponent's eyes.

he got off light gettin his ear bitten off :icon_twis

I put it through hotbot and two things.

I didn't realise he was a spitting cobra.

I've got a hot bot.

delusional, he quit, Evander beat the living daylights out of him, hit him with everything and the kitchen sink. Why would a fighter who had no chance of losing resort to something that could land him in hot water? I believe it was investigated and nothing was found on the gloves. It was just bobby's way of quitting. Evander was a dirty, cheating fighter but his cheating came in the form of aggression (headbuts, elbows, hitting late) not using anything like that. One thing you have to give the white fighters from europe, they don't whine the same when things don't go their ways. It used to be white fighters had a very consistent pattern of claiming some foul or injustice, Duane Bobick claimed that Norton hit him in the throat, Gerry ****ey claimed the press "buffaloed" him into thinking he couldn't go fifteen so he held back against Holmes, as if there is something so wrong with losing to a better black fighter. Not to say losers don't always make excuses but the tone of the great white hopes excuses are pretty much identical. I don't remember any black fighter saying he got hit in the throat or anything like that. The sense of entitlement stops in boxing. Silly.

I got to say I was offended reading this post whether that was the intention or not. There are so many cases of fighters making excuses for a loss that I can't believe someone would tie it to race. Was Holyfield making an excuse that his loss to Bowe was because of his irregular heart function? Seemed to be fine in all his other wars. How about Tyson and the fact that he wasn't training hard enough for Buster Douglas? Find it hard to believe that was the first fight he slacked on training to party. Was it the white half of Haye that came up with the toe excuse against Klitschko?

And by the way the senitment about European fighters, how about Siarhei Liakhovich filing a complaint that he was hit by an illegal punch in the 14 seconds it took Wilder to flatten him? But Euro white guys are okay?

White americans have a gene that makes them come up with excuses for losing a fight.

Don't Brazilians do that as well? Like when Vitor Belfort said that he would have beat Anderson Silva had he not been knocked out?

he wouldve though

I won't tolerate your blatant racism. You're lucky I'm not a moderator. Lay off the whites, we struggle enough without ignorance like this.

well sorry, times have changed, Klitcsko didn't cry too much about his loss to lewis, didn't try to blame it on a headbut which is what Jerry Quarry, Gerry coney, Duane Bobick would have done. It's a different era, back then it was known and said in boxing circles how valuable commodity white fighters were and it created a sense of entitlement which came in the ridiculous form of Coney getting parity over Holmes, even without fighting his way up the ranks, Mancini was handed a shot at Arguello, lost and was immediately given another. Cyzz was the golden boy at middleweight until Hamsho outbrawled him. It's different now, we don't have that type of coddled white american fighter anymore. As far as excuses, they are common and lame, I agree but the kind that a bobick came up with? Got hit in the neck? Cyzz? Hot sauce, they take the cake. Evander never said he had a heart problem, the idiot doctors he went to did and he believed it for awhile because people trust idiot doctors. On the whole, I agree, excuses are lame and they all make them, Arguello and his blaming Futch, pryor for drug use for his loss, it's all sour grapes really. Usually the fans don't buy into it. There is a subtle difference between the two though.

What the heck, fellas?? Why is this thread going this way? Everytime this forum gets a bit of momentum and starts to have some good posters and discussion, something stupid has to come up like this.

You guys don't get it, sore losers are everywhere in boxing, always have been but Bobicks claim to have gotten hit in the neck is ludicrous, he may have felt like he got hit in the neck because he got hit so hard on the chin. ****ey apologizing to the audience after losing is something you don't see too often because the audience isn't that invested in propping you up to win. Maybe I'm wrong on this but the kinds of excuses the great white hopes made just really bother me.

Because Cyzz is a perfect example of what I'm saying. How delusional can a fighter be? He's fighting 4 divisions above his natural weight, he got the shit kicked out of him, claimed that was what he wanted, then tobasco sauce? Even if it was tobasco sauce fighters don't quit like that. Ali was blinded, Cleveland williams was blinded by Liston, they fought on and they were in competitive fights. I guess it's just an old resentment of mine's which incidentally I picked up from the boxing mags of the 80's who had white writers by the way and seemed to resent Mancini, ****ey and Cyzz because they were fans of the sport and wanted to see guys earn their shots justly.

Well it is on topic. We're discussing fighters making excuses, we're just elaborating on Czyz in this case.

It's pretty understandable that to be a world class athlete, in an individual sport like boxing particular, you have to be self-centered to almost a maniacal level. A loss can never be your fault otherwise it would shake your belief to get in there and win again. And it's not like you can just shut it off when you retire. Czyz is just making sense for his loss in his own mind so whatever. Doesn't change the outcome does it?

By the way if by some chance Mayweather does lose I can't wait to hear his excuses. I seriously doubt we'd hear a "Well he was the better man tonight."

On another point Micky Ward was probably the most gracious loser and winner in the sport that I've seen.

btw seano, were you aware that one of your posts was in an evan tanner docu? I just saw it an hour ago.

Yeah, in recent years we see black fighters attacking the ref when they lose like Zab Judah...

no doubt about it, fighters, champions rather are delusional, all of them you have to be. And the letdown for a Foreman, a Tyson, a Holyfield is going to create some excuses. Tyson incidentally, in many ways was just as coddled and spoiled as any white hope after the boxing world got their hands on him and it ruined what could have been a great career.

well, you got me there, young folk across all boundaries in this country ain't the same, what gets me is how quickly it's all happened. I know a family with a grandma from Nazi germany, the grandkids are about as mouthy and contentious as anyone. I blame it on the both parents out of the house syndrome.

????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Explain.

they were discussing online forums regarding Evan's death,Seano's post was shown which said he thought it was a suicide which was the early talk but seems to have settled on accidental death.
