I'm a fan of both--considering Holm grew up in my hometown--and realize what a lopsided fight this more than likely will be, but, let's let the fight play out and then talk shit like crazy. I know if Holm wins I will be laughing out loud for sure, and why not? Three champs from Albuquerque? Hell yeah! People bitched how Bethe did not deserve to fight Ronda.
Bethe was 8-0 at the time and had fought pro for 3 years.

Somehow Ronda at 4-0 and fighting pro for less than a year and less than 5min in the cage (thats includes her ama fights) was good enough to fight the GOAT P4P best female fighter ever.


Ronda came out and announced she would drop weight in Nov in dec Cyborg came out and said she would drop weight too and go for the belt at 135.
One did it the other not.

Not to mention Ronda clearly never ran. She said she would beat Miesha and then fight Cyborg. That's one fight at 135. She beat Miesha, agreed to fight Cyborg at 145, and it only did not happen because of Cyborg's steroid abuse.

they are going to milk ronda for as much money they can before making the cyborg fight. Once ronda fights (and gets beats) cyborg, there won't be anymore reason for her to compete and she will retire.

So Holms shouldn't have gotten the fight? She's not legit?

- Ronda has beaten 6 out of the 9 remaining Top 10 fighters. The only other two are Nunes and Eye. Nunes got MURKED by Zingano and Eye just got beat by Tate. So Holly makes the most sense.

- Holly started training MMA before Ronda

- Holly is undefeated in MMA just like Ronda
