Holly Holm as a bad chin

Mathis is an enormous puncher. She is one of the biggest punchers in the history of female fighting have you even seen the girl fight that ko'd Holm?
Holm has a solid chin

And the premise of the OP's post is ridiculous. Holm was 33-2-3 as a pro and immediately avenged that loss to Mathis. She's going to lose, but it's not going to be because she has a bad chin. She doesn't.

The rematch against Mathis was a underwhelming. Fighting almost exclusively in her home town the ref allowed her to get away with a lot of holding and judges were never going give a close decision against her.

She's really not this elite knock out artist that everyone thinks shes is.
 
This is a terrible comparison, you're comparing a pro boxer in boxing match vs a mma fighter with limited striking experience in a mma fight, Mathis btw is a KO puncher, most of her wins come by KO. Not only that Holm has 2 KO losses in a career of 40+ boxing/kickboxing fights, if you actually watched any of those fights rather the a HL video of a fight where she knowingly got KO'd in, you would see she has a good chin. Watch her fights, he can take a shot very well.

I see it going this way. Ronda eats a couple of jabs (Holm yells really loudly while throwing those jabs), Ronda gets the clinch, throws Holm to the ground and finishes with the arm bar. Fight over in under a minute. Rogan gets on his knees and proposes marriage to his beloved during the post fight interview.

I dont even know where this idea came from, people thinking that Holm is a KO artist. If anyone actually watched her boxing fights and mma fights they would know she's not a big puncher. MMA fans just assuming this because she comes from a boxing background.

That is prolly why they are setting the fight up now, before Holm improves. This way they can get her before she is ready for this type of fight and then they can boost her up even more. "Beating a boxer"

"before HOLM improves"??? Do you realize that with each fight RONDA has improved ... and to a more noticeable degree than any of her past or potential opponents.

Do you think in another year or two, Holm would be subbing opponents on the ground?

Maybe they set the fight now before Ronda improves to give Holm a fighting chance ....
 
Holm has an iron will. It is unbelievable how much punishment she took and how she is still fighting (learning a new sport no less), showing no signs of having lost her heart. Many men wouldn't be the same after a brutal beatdown like that.
 
That's like saying Hendo has a bad chin because he got KO'ed once.

Holly has been KO'ed twice in 50 fights and the video in question, she fought her again and won.

Holly is the best credentialed fighter Ronda has ever faced and it should be a good fight.
