Oh and just in case you want to know, there's a brand new boss at the end of pantheon 4 that isn't in the main game, and in pantheon 5 you have to beat every boss in the game with a rest point after every 5 bosses, and some of the bosses are slightly different, like Markoth not having a floor, or Mantis Lords fighting you all at the same time instead of 1 then 2.

Congrats man, you still have so much content left. The hardest part for me are some of the insane Platforming challenges. Im loving making no progress for hours but that 5 seconds of relief is gonna be worth it.

Some of the platforming is pretty difficult. I was stuck on the one in the queens garden trying to get the worm. I had to give up for a little while because it was frustrating me. I ended up finding two more bosses (Traitor Lord & Marmu) and took both of them out. I tired Grimm once before I put it down. I still need Failed Champion and Dung Defender redux.

Alright, took about 10 tries but I got Failed Champion. Found sticking close to him and utilizing my dash worked the best.

Looking for grubs, I actually did discover a new area. The Hive, which also came with a nice charm at the end.

Love that I can still uncover stuff like that just searching for collectibles.

That seems to be the strat. Now that I have all ability upgrades, it should make it a little easier.

What platform event do you think Silksong's release date will premiere on? Switch, PS5, Xbox? Or will it be shown during a catch all like Gamescon or just on their own?

You been to White Palace yet? oooooh boy.

Theyre gonna release on the switch and PC. Itll come over to the other consoles in after a year, I think.

I haven't made it to the White Palace yet. I only have one half of the charm. I still need 1800 essence. White Defender and Fallen Champion need to be beat for me to achieve that. I think I'm sitting around 1250 essence. However, I watched Mossbag's HK lore video and he showed a glimpse of it and made an interesting connection to the Pale King regarding the area (also super meatboy).

Thankfully, I have a switch. But I would much rather play it on my PS5. We will see if I can fight the temptation.

Went to White Palace last night. I’ve opened up a few elevators so far but I’m having a lot of fun with it. Some seriously tricky platforming and some of the most intense experiences I’ve had in the game so far.

Path of Pain is the most fun boss fight Ive had to try and beat, finally got to the gate, opened it and called it a night. Even did the first part I was stuck on for like 4-5hrs just to get back to the gate. Some crazy shit next, so ill need to dedicate a day or two. Tough platforming but then you do it, and its like, 'was that it?'.

Made it to the end of Path of Pain after a solid 4 hours and it turns out I’ve completely forgotten how to fight, got my ass handed to me and had to restart. I don’t have much interest in going through that again. I’m assuming if I quit I have to start over as well so that it makes an even bigger pass.

Think I’m about done at this point. Excellent game, can’t wait for the sequel.

You beat it basically in 4h, I spent 4h on the first section.......

IIl try beat PoP, by this weekend, and then move on the Fools Trial, and look for any bosses I missed, then onto Pantheon.
Hmm, were you using regen charms? I have the one that regens health over time and one that regens Soul with damage. Basically gives you unlimited attempts if you manage correctly.

I might go back but that was a kick in the nuts. I estimate I could do it in half the time it took me the first time but my thumb is a little shot from the d-pad work lol.

Yup using the bee charm where health regens, I wish I knew about it doing White Palace, cause fuck I redid that so many times without it.
Plus they give you unlimited soul refill spots throughout PoP. I watched speedruns of PoP, after spending days on this shit, so I have basically 2 areas left. No point torturing myself by not knowing when it will end lol.

I only get frustrated at myself, its asks 5 seconds of perfection at the max but takes hours of practice. Dunno if Im a masochist or something lol cause Im enjoying it unlike Fools trial [fucking hate that bitch, but Ill do it eventually].

Exactly why its taken me so long. My thumb needs rest. Legit gets painful after a while.

Finished the Path of Pain. Might be my single greatest video game achievement. After 15+ hours of painful repetition, cramps and thumb pain, I fucking finally did it. By far the hardest challenge in my time playing video games.

I suck at precision platformers and shit like this from Meatboy, I dont particularly enjoy them but I found myself really enjoying this for the most part.

I know some found it easy, and hell some special people can speedrun it under 3 minutes, but I fucking did it.

Why did I put myself this shit? It was just so I could say I did it. Ill collect the final 3 charms after farming for geo, doing Fools sometime next week, and maybe doing a few pantheons, but I fucking did the one thing I wanted to do.

Shit yeah, dude! Congrats that’s quite the accomplishment.

Fools Trial is piss easy, P1 and P2 are piss easy.....

Just put on unbreakable strength and heart, quick slash, and soul catcher. Button smash, and descending dark for the win.

110% completion. I have 3 more Pantheons, but this boss rush thing aint my thing. Might get the 112% completion but its more likely I rest it.

Hollow Knight stay GOATED. Cant wait for the sequel. Adios.

Yeah that's about where i got up to. I think i did P3 but i'm not 100% sure, either way i lost all drive to do P4 and P5. I like boss rush in games, but not in HK, that's not what HK is about.

Might have to hop back into this. Made it to the last boss before quitting.
