Maybe there's gonna be some news at today Nintendo's Direct....

Silksong was actually showing up a lot of places some days ago and I excitedly thought Cherry updated something, somewhere – but nah. I'm not sure the studio even has a pulse at time of writing. The fans have gone above and beyond with their loyalty to the IP so it feels an opportunity squandered not to re-engage or piggyback all this love.

I notice for the gaming space specifically, there are two camps on how to market oneself: you either go dark until you have something, or you personify your studio and really play off your userbase's interests and talents, like canon exploration, digi-photograpy, fanart, cosplay, and shared jubilation over in-game feats whatnot. Cherry is in the former camp, I guess, and that's how Bluepoint, Infinity Ward as well as From roll too, as examples; the latter camp is more the style adopted by Team NINJA, Insomniac, and Bend. It's all rather interesting, I think. IMHO and in response to how fans interact with the HK property, Cherry should move to the former camp and talk to fans, let them know they're here and listening, vibing off everything being put out there.

It's funny watching some HK related videos from 2019, and hearing "With 'Silksong' right around the corner..."

Is this game ever coming out? LOL

It's the same as ER... except Silksong is mostly made by 2 guys and not a big company.

Anyone who knows anything about Team Cherry has complete faith in them.

My most anticipated title. Still no date....

The trailer for those who missed it. Take all the time you need Team Cherry.

That trailer was awesome. The top youtube comment says it best: "After 3 years, we get 1 minute of gameplay. And it was beautiful." On the bright side, at least the release window has been narrowed to the next 12 months.

I know i know, you thought i had news but you're wrong.

I just came to post this glorious Hollow Knight video that came out a few days ago, give it a watch if you like HK -

The HK community is one of the best and most wholesome in all of gaming.

I don't know why some people are worried about Silksong. Team Cherry have been transparent from day 1 and the delays aren't because of budget or anything like that, they're because they keep trying to improve the game.

I don't want Silksong rushed out of the door to please desperate fans, i want it to be as good as it can be and i don't mind waiting an extra few months or a year.
