Finished at 32 hours non complete. Did not like the final boss.

I find power attack incredibly awkward to use, had the same with nail arts in Hollow Knight.

Tacks with the poison enchantment just wipes out ground based enemies.

That's where i'm at now. Think i did ok for my first attempt and may have got to the last wave but with this game you can never be sure.

I'd previously gone after another damage upgrade before carrying on with Bilewater and after getting it i found another one within half an hour.

I thought I had done it first try after phase 5 or 6, nah that’s halfway apparently.
 
DO NOT READ SPOILER IF YOU HAVE NOT REACHED ACT 2!

For those that reached Act 2:

reach the Citadel through the main gate by defeating the Last Judge?

I was planning on going back to the Last Judge but got sidetracked into exploring the Mist, solved it, then beat the boss and it allowed me to enter the Citadel through from the back (right side).

On a side note I am super annoyed that I haven't found the double jump skill. Been scouring the whole map and i am at loss. I think it's in the Citadel now and I have to beat the Last Judge to get it or explore the Citadel now that I am inside... Please don't post to tell me where it is. I was just venting. Like the first game, I was targeting/hunting for the wall jump, double jump and dash. Was super duber happy when i found the wall jump but this fucking double jump location is pissing me off...

Tip for these delivery missions, use the bench at Bellheart and during the mission do not use any benches. If you fail you can just save and quit, load back to Bellheart.
 
Returned to the swamp and killed Groan the Great. It was crap, really bad.

Also killed Troppio and First Sinner, both really great bosses, First Sinner amazing, probably the best boss so far.

I keep getting bamboozled by the fact that Team Cherry somehow make these insanely good bosses and also make these absolute garbage bosses like Groan the Great and The Unravelled.
 
Found the handiest tool in the game so far for me, Bilewater might be tolerable now.

This game fucking sucks. The High Hall gauntlet is proof positive that the game was written by AI besides the boss fights. Team Cherry is trash.

No review copies was slimy. May not have deterred anyone but having a heads up on the difficulty spike instead of expecting something chill like Hollow Knight woulda been nice
