Its even worse than that. I have 3 school age kids ranging from elementary to high school and they go to school with illegals but here is the weird part. These kids can't speak English. They show up to class, they sit there, and they mostly have no idea what is going on and the school just does it because its PC. Its one of the most fucked up things I've seen since becoming a parent. Sometimes they have someone at the school that tries to teach them some English but most of the teachers don't speak Spanish and can't even say anything to these kids.

Makes me that much prouder that my local public school system has adapted the capability to train foreign born students.

That's actually happened in large part, mostly due to better trade agreements with the USA and less state controlled industry in Mexico itself. Heck, even Pemex has to compete now.

Still, the difference in wealth across the border (Northern Mexico is much poorer than central Mexico) is dramatic.

Mexico and other countries have public school systems. No one is depriving the illegals of access to it except their parents.

The US- and any other civilized country on the planet- already DO guarantee education for all children. This has been the case for decades and decades. So all the doomsday scenario you geniuses are thinking up (omgz billions of brown and black children at the airports, ports and border towns just waiting to infect my Harper and Mason with diseases!) should have already been happening.

This asinine concept has only showed up in Europe recently(taking in large immigrant groups), and it's working out lovely(sarcasm). They know who/what's coming far more than we do.

I have no issues with latin americans. In my racist view; I feel they're a good immigration fit for my country and share many of the same values. (free herring : most of my friends are mexican).

I just want to choose.

I'm also ok with "calling it done" with a fairly large segment. If you've been here for a chunk of time, I figure you've paid enough sales tax, or the witholding on your fake ssn and never got to settle it right, that you're ok. No crimes, we can work it out. Maybe your employer writes a letter of recommendation, and pays a fucking fine for employing you and gets off easy.

In no fashion are we "shipping them all back". I just want to move on and decide who's gonna stay. Answer should be something like "most of them". Let's at least run people through, tighten up the border, and sift out what we don't want to stay. Or provide worker documents in our existing structure, in a mass fashion.

Our current immigration debacle is not good for the immigrants or the US. They get taken advantage of, and so do we.

Maybe then we can deal with H1B bullshit, which robs good paying jobs.

Illegal immigrants - damn near free money.
1.Overwhelmingly they are insured; because they are scared the no insurance violation sends them to jail.
2.Barely report losses. Concerned an investigation, even if it's not their fault, will get them in deep shit.

So for that; they are charged a surcharge, for "foreign drivers license". Often amounting to what a drunk in a beamer would cost.

Someone's always making money on it.
