Hips and what they mean to me

Listen to this guy. He's a MASTER technician. It's all about that footwork!^

That's only because I haven't seen any demonstrations of your excellent craft. That's alright, I understand. Superb artists don't usually like to work in the eyes of the public.

Never claimed I was anything special, only that you're full of shit. Your own youtube videos are proof of that.

No, clearly you are a Master Craftsman. Don't be modest about it. Hey I already said you've changed my perspective. I'm done keeping company with HOF fighters and passing on what experienced fighters and trainers have to say, and I'm only going to follow the words of s1Ck from Sherdog, whoever that is. Because it's all about that footwork!

Maybe you should learn to box from them instead of just trying to be knowledgeable by association, because its clear you don't know shit.

Oh no, I did train with them. But I realized that some of THEIR trainers never had 9 pro fights. Which according to you means everything I've ever been taught by them is bullshit! So is head-movement. No man, you're a genius. FOOTWORK FTW!!

I don't know if its sad or funny that you're this delusional. I kind of feel bad laughing at you.

Come on Bro. Get your story straight. I say I'm only going to listen to you and be all about that footwork and you call me delusional for it? Man, there's no pleasing this guy.

Everything in striking comes from footwork.

Your posts just show that you don't know anything about boxing. I suspect you train at an old school gym and you created this "trainer" persona on sherdog because you didn't have the athleticism to learn boxing.

So you hangout at this gym avoiding the trainers and old heads and give pointers to new guys when no one else is around. Maybe you ask a guy whose finishing up his cool down to film a drill you made up and he can't hold his in his laugh when you start explaining your theory on jabs.

Dude, you don't need to keep proving yourself. I already said you're a true genius. All you have to do is get here and you can run the Gym. I'll resign the moment you show up. Oh and maybe post this under your actual account instead of this throwaway troll account you have that you can't keep off of dubs for being...well, you. Come on d1Ck...I'm sorry, s1Ck. Teach us about that footwork!

Ask someone at the gym you train at.

No! Teach me the fucking footwork NOW!

Unfortunately Apizur, ur sentenced to months of boring stretches.

Never said I was inflexible in the hips. It was my brain that didn't work.

I really think I'm starting to get ahold of these things you humans call "hips". I've been mindful of them in shadowboxing and bagwork, about keeping them in a position where I haven't reached the extent of their ROM. I was gonna post a video today but pinche conitos showed up like the expected a coach to be there for the first day of the fall boxing program or something. I've focused more on backing my ass up when changing level instead of bending forward, and a little Juvenile on the Jukebox has helped me out with that as well.

Anyway, where Pacquiao at???

I'll post some shadowboxing vids to my soothing the beast thread, since this is 100% relevant to my anti-tension project.

Is it safe to say that Tyson had some of the strongest hips in the world of boxing? The way he kept his balance, evaded punches and got so damn low without it looking to take a toll on his head and body movement all point to that conclusion, right?

Exactly. "Drop that Ass" keep those hips low.

Its odd, you seem to have a hard time figuring out the hips even though you claim to work your Rythem with your GF regularly.

Good point. It would seem Tyson had flexible and strong hips like you say. Good movement from them and good power.

Great footwork, Headmovement, punching power. He had it all.

He had really good lower body flexibility and amazing mobility for a HW that's for sure. Sometimes he'd get so low he'd be doing effectively ass to the grass squats eyes still on his opponent and gloves still up all while weaving and executed at speed. That's impressive.

But it did take it's toll long term as he had lots of lower back issues as he got older.

People actually read my workout logs??

We usually just role play that she's my physical therapist and I'm rehabbing hip mobility from a "car accident". She hasn't become suspicious yet.

You really should post a round or two of the tile exercise before that shadowboxing as well.
