Yep he literally is a Olympic gold medalist and 2x World Champion.

I dont think anyone else has credentials as high level as him who has competed in MMA

i think it's more a matter of a bunch of people winning more than national championships.

you know... international competition and all.

I guess I don't follow, out of all the guys who are training to be great and he was the best in college? You think a guy can be the best wrestler in the country but not be great?

Who do you think could clearly out wrestle Lesnar, I doubt DC could, he couldn't even out wrestle Jon Jones and he is much smaller than Lesnar and I have a tough time seeing Jones as being better than Lesnar in a straight wrestling match.

Hidehiko Yoshida had similar achievements in Judo, but i don't think anyone else with his wrestling credentials fought in MMA. Unless you're one of those people who considers the Alexander Karelin / Akira Maeda match a shoot. Then Karelin would be the highest level, obviously.

i'm not saying lesnar wasn't a great wrestler, i'm saying a lot of mentions here is of people with better credentials.

he won the nationals. it's impressive. it's a whole lot better than winning state. it's still a big step below international competition like the world championships or the olympics.

Is it me or do mediocre to low end top wrestlers do better in mma than do the absolute best wrestlers that have mma careers
