International Hezbollah pager explosions kill dozens and injure thousands in Lebanon

Maybe before the Arab Spring I would've supported resettling Palestinian refugees but Lebanon and Syria are in no condition to be resettling refugees. Even Jordan is being pushed to the limit with how many refugees they're housing from the Syrian civil war. Meanwhile Israel takes no refugees from the region, Palestinian or otherwise.
Why should they? So you bring in angry “refugees “ that blame you for displacing them and they already hate you from birth

Makes sense

hamas is the elected governing body of gaza. they weren't just a rogue resistance movement within a state. they were the governing body, neighboring israel.

should they have had autonomy?

and "seen by some" is a way to distance from claim. are you some or not some?
Did they even have any elections after the initial win for Hamas? I'm just going by memory but didn't they take the opportunity to split from the West Bank and kill all their opponents in Gaza?

That's exactly what they did. Also, no, they never held democratic elections, again. Gaza is a totalitarian territory.

It's hard to argue they aren't being displaced with all the settlements that have been allowed the last 40 or 50 years. There really are terrorists on both sides in this conflict and I don't think Netanyahu's war hawk government is any more interested in recognizing a Palestinian State any more than Hamas is willing to recognize Isreal 's right to exist.

And they're seen by some as terrorists that indoctrinate kids into leading lives filled with hate and violence.

Probably a bit of both.

Tons of resistance and emancipatory movements have engaged in acts of terror.

Many Hamas and hezbollah terrorist get exterminated today?
The only problem is the collateral damage. I don't think the ends justify the means for Israel either by hitting targets despite civilian casualties.

It’s a rock and a hard place. As long as Hamas controls Gaza Israel won’t be safe, and the people of Gaza will be under lockdown and oppressed by both Israel and Hamas. There’s no future with Hamas around in any real capacity.

Wow, they just killed the guy that replaced their leader. Efficient, they ain’t playin
Palestinian and Syrian terrorists been getting an absolute ass fucking recently

Those guys picked a fight with the wrong people

Don’t go the bully and try and provoke people. Because they might just hit back a lot fucking harder than you cowardly terrorists

Sometimes thats the rational response.

The alternative is what exactly? "Just live with it". How is that not propaganda? And again its things you or the Israelis would never agree to if you were in their shoes.
