Probation is a f*cking trap avoid it at all costs and if you're looking at time you'll obviously choose the probation if you're young 9/10. So if you do finish all your community service, pay your fines, wrote smoking kill and take care of your shit to get off asap.

Because one little screw up while on probation can set you back a thousand steps. Rant over sorry guys.

Does anyone know exactly what the violation was for? The act of violating a "probationee" is completely up to the probation officer... For him to get violated before he's even been to court for the tickets seems a little hasty... Doesn't matter what should or shouldn't have happened with the hit n run incident... Getting violated on probation for simply getting traffic tickets doesn't seem right... Like maybe they really do have it out for him out there in that town..

Oh cool you've never been in trouble before? Take this deferred adjudication. Just pray you don't get a PI outside a restaurant one night or your PO sees you having a beer on Friday after work with your buddies.

Because that "deferred adjudication" can end up putting you away from your family a lot longer than just taking a few weeks in jail for a simple marijuana charge and moving on with your lIfe.

Probation is a long road but it's still a chance to make your life right again on the outside though. Pros and cons to everything.

Couldn' agree more. I swear some people read threads on here specfically looking only for grammar mistakes. They have no intentions on adding anything relevant to the thread subject

The fact of the matter is, discussing topics on an internet forum requires people to be able to understand what you're saying, and if you don't type in the accepted format, confusion ensues. They created a set of rules to follow when writing, so that everyone can easily decipher what you are trying to say. If you refuse to use those rules, then no one will be able to understand the intent behind your words.

On a side note, people typically only ball bust grammar mistakes on an otherwise stupid topic or comment. If you make interesting and/or relevant threads and comments, people are generally less likely to jump on you for your mistakes.



Edit: after my reading my long rant, i realize i missed my point completely. I was going to say that i don't think most people intend to look for, and bitch about, grammar mistakes, they are merely trying to read someone's words and can't help but notice when they do it incorrectly.
