Here we go again, two NRL players trialling for the NFL.

Posting pics = Lost the argument...Shit thread by shit poster. Euro will be cut even if they make a roster like the last guy. Stay poor.

You're not really making any argument are you though mate. Just trolling, says it all really.

Oh and neither of them are 'Euro'.

Nice! Well if five clubs have asked them back they must of showed some promise then!

Aye as I said in OP wouldn't hold out much hope, but it's interesting to see nonetheless. Some think it might just be a bit of a ploy to get a better contract, could be true, but they say they are serious about it.

Hard to tell the truth really. As you said it could be a contract ploy or the NFL trying to up the Aussie viewership by showing interest in their bhoys. We shall see in time chara.

Not good enough for this real sport. Stick with poor sports.
Lol when a Rugby player with ball in hand steps over the side line the ball automatically goes to the opposing team not like in Gridiron who lazily keep it and celebrate like they won the game and also you call a touch down yet you don't have to touch down on the ground like you have to in Rugger to score a try, plus when kicking for goal the kicker doesn't just come on a kick a goal right in front of the posts like they do in the NFL he actually has to kick it from all angles of the field and then back on the field to play and the players all stay on the field for 80 minutes unless there is a injury, foul or substitution and have to do both offence and defence unlike the drama diva's in the NFL.

Another moron, why are so many NFL fans dickheads I wonder? Maybe it's just in this sub-forum, rehashing the same boring 'poor', 'd-level' athlete jokes over and over again.
they are just brain washed dickheads who don't there is a world outside the USA.

Well there are wild wallabies living in Ireland so I can see how it'd confuse you http://www.irishcentral.com/travel/wild-wallabies-wander-deserted-irish-island

Nemani Nadolo is the rugby player who should try out for the NFL.
It'd make the 'only the kicker to beat' occasions a lot more interesting when the kicker is 6'5", 300+lbs and as quick as anyone on the field
.

A site to behold.

And what the hell I never knew there were wallabies in Ireland, that's cool.

To be fair mate you're saying some of the same sorts of things against NFL that they'd say against rugby...people can be even handed and appreciate sports they don't really watch imo.

Brilliant story pal..thanks for that.I read Irish Central and must of overlooked that...cheers.Not a doubt in my mind if an NFL team had the likes of a player like Nadolo on special teams his impact would be immense.

the intelligence needed to play football outside of quarterback is a myth perpetuated by the nfl. its basically a marketing tool. two years as a second or third stringer could easily prepare him to play linebacker or even defensive end. hes physically got everything needed.
Defensive end maybe but not linebacker

Is DE more about pure physicality than linebacker?
Yeah. For most NFL teams the middle linebacker is essentially the quarterback of the defense. You have to know where everyone on the defensive side of the ball is supposed to be and what their assignment is. Plus, you face a different offensive scheme every week and you pretty much have to be the expert on the field defensively. Not saying its impossible for one of those guys to be successful at mlb but you'd have to be just about rainman like to pull it off in only a few years

Yeah that makes sense, doubt they'd be able to make it at DE either, but MLB sounds way too technical. I used to follow the NFL a lot when I was younger but never knew much about the technical side of things, I was just watching the NFL Top 100 videos where they talk about Luke Kuechly.

I was watching more top 100 things and came across this guy, Ezekiel Ansah who had never played american football until 2010 and got drafted in 2013. That's interesting, but obviously he had the advantage of being able to learn in college and seems to be a bit of physical freak.

NRL players are just too dumb to learn the plays to make it in the NFL

It's possible, I wouldn't say they are dumb (some definitely are tbf) but there's definitely a lot more to account for in NFL in terms of memorising plays.
