Asians vote Democrat. Democrats say asians have white privilege and do zero to help or protect them. Asians vote against their interests and this shows exactly how and why their voting record is hurting them.

This is the opposite of what's happened. The majority of Asians were Republicans in the early 1990s, and they went hard to the left over the last several decades. The reason for that is because "leftism" policies are actually quite attractive to the majority of Asians.

I think the Republicans need to actually begin being thoughtful in their appeal to Asians and Catholic Hispanics, because their current method of just saying they are brainwashed is not effective.

However, the majority of Asian Americans do identify as Democrats. And that could be in part because there is a lot of overlap between the policy preferences of Asian Americans of every stripe and those espoused by the Democratic Party. For instance, according to the survey, 81 percent of Asian Americans support stricter gun laws, 77 percent support stronger legislation to address climate change, 70 percent support affirmative action in higher education, 63 percent believe the government should do more to give Black Americans equal rights with white Americans, 59 percent support a pathway to citizenship for undocumented immigrants, 59 percent support shifting funding away from law enforcement, and 55 percent support expanding access to health insurance to all immigrants regardless of legal status.

They only seem to care about Asians to the extent they can be used as a foil or wedge. Republicans show a complete disregard for the policy interests of any of these groups, and always fall back on calling them brainwashed when the groups do not fall for the nonsense.

The crazy thing is, the Republican party could potentially attract more voters if they actually showed any interest in learning what these communities are looking for. Specifically, I do believe they should be able to attract more Hispanic voters. George W. Bush got 44% of the Hispanic vote. But since then, it seems like Republicans have doubled down on being antagonistic.

The Republicans need to be paying more attention, and appealing to communities using policy proposals that actually matter to them. There are policy areas in which Asians and Hispanics, generally speaking, will side with Republicans. But Republicans do a terrible job of highlighting that, in part because they spend far too much time antagonizing.

This is the second post in a row that you have made that shows you do not read what has already been written and highlights my point about antagonism.

My previous post pointed out that there are specific areas in which Asians and Hispanics would side with Republican policy, but that Republicans do a terrible job of highlighting it and spend too much time antagonizing.

In response you pretended their only hope would be to move further left, which is the opposite of highlighting their own policies that may appeal to these minority groups.

You then went on to say we simply need to be more selective on which groups we allow to immigrate, instead of appealing to them with good policy.
