the reason i ask is that i remember back in high school a neighboring high school made national news because someone was "kidnapped and sodomized with a knife."

turns out someone was hazed. a bunch of kids duct-taped another kid, moved him to the locker room, and then someone poked him in the meat of his buttcheek with a plastic knife from the cafeteria. that lead to the escalated description of kidnapping and knife sodomy. not anything to be proud of, but not necessarily as scary as what was described. its like when people say rittenhouse is a mass shooter or there was a coup attempt on Jan 6. it kind of doesnt provide a balanced description of what really occurred.

yep. being that rich is a moral handicap according to some judges that makes crimes like rape understandable. poor rich kids.

One more example of the failure of a justice system not caring about the victims but about not "ruining the criminals life's ". It's sad and the people that support this are fucked up in the head.

It's insane that you can gang rape someone and not go to jail. Absolutely insane. Also it's sexist. If these people targeted a female they would certainly have gotten jail time. That means there is systemic bias against men in the judicial system.

Young people are dumb. Not that it compares to filming a deliberate crime like this, but a few years ago, the government had to run PSA campaigns over the legalities of sending nude pics around over the phones, because a bunch of young people were getting charged with possession of child pornography. You had 8th and 9th graders sending all sorts of pics/videos to each other, not piecing together that it was illegal to be in possession of such explicit material of minors.

Sad, this could be avoided by spending 5 minutes on the topic in a civics class.

This could have crippled the kid for life.

One of my partner's old friends has a son who used to be an airline pilot in training.

He went to London to party with friends and ended up in an alley, taped by five or so Nigerian men (the father's description, not mine). One of them shoved a pipe up his arse and the end result?

His wounds reopen whenever he goes to the toilet and he cannot get surgery on them. He needs blood transfusions every once in a while because of poisoning, but he kept refusing to go because he was so mentally fucked up from it that he wanted to die. His parents have to give him full-time care.

No idea what happened to him.

Judge needs to be fired.
