HBO - Chernobyl anyone?

Two episodes in and loving it.

How come hbo crushes their original series but netflix series always seem cheap?

Just finished the last episode. Incredible series, one of the best things I’ve ever watched.

The testimony was so fascinating and disheartening. To see how many things had to go wrong to set off this domino effect of tragedy was pretty staggering. Especially seeing it all laid out like it was.

Dyatlov was truly a complete piece of shit. More loathsome than any villain you could come up with. Fueled by greed that left a wake of destruction still being felt today. Fuck him.

Not often you see someone sentenced to hard labor and then die of cancer and think, "man, that guy got off light."

I'd be curious to know if he ever showed any remorse before he died. Not sure his ego would allow that.
 
great mini series. 9/10 for me. mad respect for those who risked their lives to save millions.

Knowing what I know now. Subject matter aside...I'd trade the entire series of GOT for 5 episodes of Chernobyl.

There...I said it.

It was a masterful production. Top 1 or 2 shows I've ever seen. It had everything.
 
Damn.......what a great ending to a great mini-series. Just WOW! This show had everything you could want. It's not light subject matter obviously but I am going to recommend this show to everyone. It hits hard.
 
I guess 1 good thing about getting an HBO NOW subscription for GOT season 8 is that I got to watch Chernobyl before my subscription expired ;) - Btw the prosecutor in the finale looked familiar. At first I thought it was Stannis from GOT.
 
Ah man, no elephants foot? Was hoping they’d throw it in somewhere. Regardless, what a series.
 
Phenomenal miniseries. Probably the best one I’ve ever seen, including Band Of Brothers.
