I only use it for cardio and flexibility now, so basically for health and motivation. I’d never be caught dumb enough to get in a street fight, but training and outdoor running helped me through depression as a teenager. Never looked back for anything more than gratitude.
 
Trained mma for less than a year, before coming to the conclusion that the stand up game just is not for me. I’ll stick with grappling

Trained in Karate for about 15 years and branched off a bit into jujitsu and some thai kickboxing. Then one night when i was showing some kid how to do a proper kick in karate class i tore my groin.. pop just like that. It still feels funny to this day. .. about 18 years later.
The worst part was that kid was a little shit head and was there because his cunt mother couldn't control him.

I could have been like the just bleed guy lol.

After that i would teach more because of my groin and eventually drifted more into weight training and cardio instead.

Ah well
