Movies Have never actually seen Predator 2

Compared to the first one? it's garbage...

But over the years I've developed a small appreciation for it. It's not the dog shit show I thought it was. It's merely okay now.

I like it a lot. Predator is a better movie, but I've always thought P2 had more replay value and I've seen it way more times than I have the original. My favourite thing about P2 is the setting. You get a strong sense of LA being this nuclear hot, sweaty, borderline apocalyptic battleground full of brutal violence between Jamaican and Colombian drug gangs. I saw it first when I was like a 10 year old kid who didn't know much about America and so I ended up being pretty surprised that LA wasn't actually like that (Seeing Clueless was a big eye opener)

Yeah it's a much more entertaining movie than is given credit, plus it's the first time the whole Alien vs Predator thing was on screen.

It’s a bit weird, but it’s good. It’s seen as bad because it’s not as good as the first, but it is underrated because people keep comparing it to the first movie. It’s basically a 6 or 7/10 movie people say is crap due to the first being a 9/10 movie.

It’s okay. It has developed a weird cult following similar to Halloween III: Season of the Witch where people swear it’s a great movie just to be edgy and different.

It was cool at the time it came out because it showed a bit more of the predator’s tech. And of course the trophies caused all kinds of wild speculation.

Good movie, good characters, funny, violent, great mood/setting. It's pretty damned good. Danny Glover, Gary Busey, Bill Paxton, Jamaican gangs, frickin' Morton Downey Jr, lol. Wtf more could you want?

Some of the action scenes get a little corny, but that's life.
