Not ashamed to say it. I used to be a HUGE Conor fan in those early years (2013-2017).
Once all the ugliness appeared (maybe it was there all along), it just became so distasteful I couldn't with him anymore.
Now the guy is hanging out with the Paul brothers, coked up, and completely directionless.

Who's someone you used to love or have fondness for, but they eventually proved you wrong?

jon jones -- mostly because of his recent antics of holding up the division, fighting stipe, and not giving Tom his rightful shot and wasting his prime years. he should have retired after Gane.

adesanya - i liked him on the come up. But then he started getting cringe and alot of his fake persona came out (saying he grew up poor, but had servants) and race baiting

Yair - had a flashy style, but then got full of himself. thinks he's alot better than he is.

Matt Hughes, used to love him back in the day, but then I brought his book and it was awful and really showed who he is as a person. Then saw him as coach on TUF and it wasn't as bad as the book but it was still not a good look. Rich Franklin came off way better on that TUF season and likeable.

Jones... Used to think people weren't fair with him.

But his bullshit and the way he has been ducking Aspinall / beating an old man and acting like it was an incredible "lEgAcY" win / getting his dick sucked by Uncle Dana lately is unbearable. He's full of crap...

His fangirls have more faith in him beating Aspinall than he has himself

Phil Baroni, something about that guy ain't right

Yeah that book really did a number on his image with fans

I wasn't particularly a 'fan', but I do remember being surprised that Joe Lauzon turned out to be one of the most embarrassing, bootlicking shills the UFC ever produced. Just didn't gel with my perception.

Same with Mighty Mouse. Never loved or even particularly liked him, but I also wouldn't have picked he had the mind of an edgy teenage internet troll a few years ago.

I guess Tony Ferguson would be one. Never a big fan, but now I can't stand listening to his ridiculous banter about how Khabib ducked him and he STILL wants that fight! LOL Also, Sean Strickland would have to be in the talk to. The more he opens his mouth, the bigger ass he sounds like.

Yeah that book was brutal, horrible to read. It was like it was written by someone who hates him because everything made him look so bad, the worst book I've ever read on a sports star.

The TUF coaching appearances were not good either. Its a shame because I really liked him back in the day, he was so strong, he was incredibly physically strong and I still have him as #2 WW GOAT behind GSP, as Hughes has double the amount of wins than anyone else in WW, but yeah can't say I'm a fan of him after that, so hard to like and respect him.
