What jab? He went in full speed for a takedown and his jaw was lined up perfectly with the hip bone. Freak/fluke impact, but it wasn't a weak punch. There was no punch.

Petrovski was getting rocked repeatedly throughout the fight. I am guessing it will come out he got KO'd in camp and thought he would be fine to just grapple with Malkoun.

He took a few glances shots, smashed his head into the hip bone, fell down off a failed shot and then got finished by the follow up body kick.

The body kick finished him, before that he just got stunned after getting outstruck and not having success in his wrestling.

These guys are all damaged goods comin into fights. So sometimes an "unsatisfying" KO could be cos of something like that.
