FFS, look at the majors women pick when they're told they have to work. Early childhood education, nursing, social work. The man is still the primary breadwinner in the majority of marriages, because having the security to raise children without having to worry about money IS what most of them want, and the ones who don't have that option and do have to make money end up going into fields that are the next closest thing to what they want to be doing.

Why is it that the same people who pretend working for some corporation is "empowering" for women and way more important than raising a family, are also the ones who bitch about work for themselves non stop and how they need shorter work weeks and more paid vacations and their boss is greedy and the government should give them more free shit so they don't have to work so much?

I have a crazy idea, why don't we let women decide for themselves. I know it seems crazy but why don't we empower women to make their own decision. If they want to stay home and be a homemaker fine, if they want a career great. If they want both more power to them.

You see, women are a diverse bunch and they all don't have the same views and outlook.

See how easy it is? Do you want Rosie O'Donnell to tell you what men need to focus on?

If by 'Christian views' you mean bigoted, ignortant and hateful, then I'd agree but I suspect there are Christians out there that would prefer to not be typecast into that segment. Butker is basically just a repugnant idiot who should shut it unless he has positive things to say about others.

Why do people keep lying about what he said? unless i missed that part. he never said women belong in a home, etc. he said that the most important thing for most may be being a mother or wife. Is there more to it? i am not really religious, so these speeches bore me to tears, but i don't really see any controversy. he is just speaking to supposed similarly minded people

Great, I wasn't asking you to "rely" on anything, I was pointing out what a POS you for attacking the guy's skin color when you have no point to make and your creepy demands that women "get out there and earn" for you, and are now backtracking and making the same point that he made, but decided he's still somehow a "creep" for making a lot of money and getting married instead of having 59 different "baby mamas" like the rest of his league. Should they all pay child support, or should the baby mamas get a dose of empowerment and have to sit in a cubicle for 40 hours/week?


Would it also be really "empowering" to raise the retirement age to 75? How about we scrap maternity leave?

She's a raging alcoholic who gets heavy botox. She's way too easy of a target though because she goes so far out of her way to convince herself and others that she isn't miserable. She made what I guess was a comedy video a couple years ago about all the awesome stuff she can do with all the free time she has being single and childless, but it was all over the top fantasy stuff because the reality is that she probably drinks by herself a lot and spends a lot of time crying. It was fine when she was younger because she was decent looking and had big tits, so people would pretend she was funny, but now she's like 50 and still trying to cling onto the being slutty act and getting botox and posting pictures of herself skiing naked and it's just depressing.

The funniest part of her video was that her entire premise was "since I don't have to chase kids around the store" and "since I don't have screaming kids on the plane". Bitch, you're 50 years old, if you had kids they'd be in their mid 20s by now, so the only real difference is that you'd have family to visit you instead of waking up alone again on Christmas morning with the only presents being a sweater you bought your dog and a bottle of vodka you bought yourself.

big difference being that Butker was speaking to an audience of people who at least, on paper, should have similar views. The vast majority of us who endured Kaepernick wanted nothing to do with his message and were not a willing crowd

The most common full time jobs for women are nurse, elementary and middle school teacher, secretary/administrative assistant, and non-teaching childcare workers, and you think think they'd rather do the same thing for strangers than their own kids if they didn't have to?

Not only was not even slightly controversial just like 10 or 15 years ago, it was almost required to say if you were talking to a female audience. Articles in every women's magazine and every women's TV show would make some mention of "being a mother is the most difficult and important job" to massive applause, and somehow Jeff Bezos convinced you idiots that most women would be happier working in a warehouse, and will even pay for you to have an abortion so you can hurry up and get your ass back to work. One of Bill Burr's most well known jokes was mocking "being a mother is a difficult job", cut to 10 years later and his wife is now staying home with the kids herself and just occasionally does a guest spot on his podcast or one of his shows.
